“There’s a crime called misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony is when you don’t report a crime. So you’re getting into pretty deep areas here in these considerations.” — U.S. Senator Arlen Specter on March 12, 2010

Is this taken out of context?? was he talking about Republicans???

Or was he talking about the sestak scandal?

Well, when he was a Republican, Arlen never cooperated with Republicans. So, old habits die hard. Now he’s not cooperating with the Democrats.

Or maybe he just wants some kind of payoff. Like real backing from the Democrats.

Or maybe he doesn’t want to take the blame for dumping Sestak from the primary. Who had more to gain from that than Arlen? So maybe this is just a big headfake.

This calls for a Special Prosecutor for obvious reasons. An investigation would be almost guaranteed to produce one or more perjury prosecutions.

US Department of Justice has a special unit in their Criminal Division called the
PUBLIC INTEGRITY SECTION
http://www.justice.gov/criminal/pin/

The Public Integrity Section oversees the federal effort to combat corruption through the prosecution of elected and appointed public officials at all levels of government. The Section has exclusive jurisdiction over allegations of criminal misconduct on the part of federal judges and also monitors the investigation and prosecution of election and conflict of interest crimes. Section attorneys prosecute selected cases against federal, state, and local officials, and are available as a source of advice and expertise to other prosecutors and investigators. Since 1978, the section has supervised the administration of the Independent Counsel provisions of the Ethics in Government Act.

The current acting head is Raymond Hulser raymond.hulser@usdoj.gov

I just wrote a five page letter to SCOTUS. Mostly giving them Founding Father’s Quotes but also including:

The purpose of this letter, kind Justices, is to entreat you to allow Attorney Dr. Orly Taitz, Esquire 29839 Santa Margarita Pkwy, ste 100, Rancho Santa Margarita CA, 92688 [949-683-5411] to present her case before the Supreme Court. I contend, gentle Justices, that denying Dr. Orly Taitz, Esquire her time before your Court could be considered Misprision of felony. And every one of us with knowledge of the commission of a crime by the false use of the Social Security Number belonging to a Connecticut resident born in 1890 by one Barry Dunham Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama would be guilty. And now that you have been informed, I will leave it to you to decide your own complicity.

TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 1 > § 4
§ 4. Misprision of felony
Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

Poor Arlen. He made a deal with the devil and the devil turned around and stabbed him in the back.

Wow, and Romanoff last night beat Doormat Milquetoast Bennet by 10 points in the Colorado Precinct Caucus straw poll. Chaos for the Dems in the Senate race?

Just looking at that lying bastard Gibbs’ face is gonna make me hurl my dinner. He makes Scott McClellan sound like a blooming genius (in your dreams).

I’ve been in the writing business since 1970 and I’ve never seen so much dishonesty, deceipt, disinformation, and pure 100% bullshit coming from the White House as I’m seeing now.

There aren’t a pair of hip boots high enough to keep us from getting mucked up.

Obama, thy name is shit.

"There's a crime called misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony is when you don't report a crime. So you're getting into pretty deep areas here in these considerations." -- U.S. Senator Arlen Specter on March 12, 2010

"Right now, they're doing the 'I won't confirm or deny,' and for us, it leaves two possibilities. One is the promise of transparency in this administration is just shot. The second one is even worse, which is either Sestak is lying or the administration has done something wrong and is covering it up…" -- U.S. Congressman Darrell Issa on Friday on March 12, 2010

"The 'stonewall strategy' functioned from the very first episodes of the cover-up. It was instinctive, from the very top of the Administration to the bottom. It was also ad hoc, developed in small reactions to the flurry of each day's events…we found ourselves trying to hold a line where we could." -- Nixon White House Counsel John Dean in his Watergate book Blind Ambition
