even with Tea Party Approved congresscritters, were going to have to hold their feet to the fire continuously lest they suffer from Potomac fever.
Boy you sure nailed that one. People screech about Beck saying that republicans are little different than democrats but its easy to say they're different today. Not so a year ago.
In fact republicans who aten't under a spotlight are doing serious damage in statehouses across the country. In Michigan it was a republican and several republican co sponsors who introduced the bill that forced home care workers into a union. They did it for SEIU money and support. I fail to see the difference between democrats and republicans there but at least I'm looking and willing to say so.

McCain has been on the wrong side of the fence too many times.
He is too liberal, and he works for the Government - not the People.
He proved that when he ‘jumped into bed’ with Kennedy in an attempt to give Amnesty to illegal aliens.
He is a political sailfish that has been run over too many times, and he’s not in touch with the people, the times, or even the Government for that matter.
He needs to be voted out. ... We need some new, true Conservative blood in DC.

I like it that they aren’t endorsing. Keeps the critters on their toes. Say, we can’t endorse you, we might have to picket you later.

The founders even stated the danger of being complacent when “your guys” are in power. They knew it would happen,
and look how lax we were during GW’s administration -
NCLB, medicare expansion, patriot act (necessary, but dangerous in ‘rat hands).

THey TRULY ARE!
Conservatives loathe McCain!
I held my nose and voted for him, only because I detested Obama much worse.

I don’t vote for any candidate who believes in magic underwear.
We need to clean house, folks. And senate.

"So I think the tea party sentiment is healthy for our democracy. And, of course, it's not a monolithic entity. It represents a lot of people from both political parties and some independents as well." That seems very awkward in that special Mitt Romney way.
I would think that the tea party movement is mostly republicans and independents with "some" democrats.

Juan McCain could win indeed over a tea party — if it’s to entertain America-hating foreigners.
