(Hope someone has not posted this already. I searched for "faint" in titles.) So, the Administrations code word for removing dissidents is "medics"? or "fainted"? Pretty clever.

In the old USSR, the KGB used to drag away dissidents to an insane asylum. If he’d have really fainted we’d have heard about this guy by now. If he were arrested, we’d hear about that too. Where is this guy, and what is his status?

Medic? That is an interesting term to use. A civilian would more likely say EMT, doctor, or nurse. Medic is a military term, and Barry wasn’t in the armed forces. Probably is code.
