For 2010, seven states had budget gaps totaling more than 25% of general fund spending, as measured by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Of these, six have a clear story about how they ended up in such a mess.

I lived in Chicago from 1997-1999 when I was in Grad school at the U of C in Hyde Park. Still have friends in Chicago, Naperville, and Deerfield.

Illegal of course, they would have to be. I have been watching the war between black gangs and hispanic gangs, a war that reflects a mutual hostility between the two ethnicities from prison to neighborhoods.

I think that Obama conned a lot of hispanics (among others).

Hultgren beat Hastert’s son Ethan in the primary. Believe me, the Hastert name stills carries sway in the 14th. So, that was a big win.

The Kane County and Kendall County Republican Party feels good about Hultgren winning, but I have not seen any polls to support that notion.

But at least within a State they do not effect the other States around them..

At least, not until they go belly up and need a federal bailout... Or some scumbag communist president hands them billions of federal taxpayer dollars to prop up their decadent government pensions and calls it "stimulus" money.

One word: Chicago

Yep, if you look at the most corrupt states with the biggest financial problems (New York, California, Illinois), they're usually the "blue" states with the biggest Democrat parasite nests ("cities").

When will some pundit start calling socialism by its more accurate term “parasitism”... and socialists as the parasites they are.. Capitalism creates new wealth, socialism uses that wealth up.. the wealth of its capitalistic host or hosts..
