A Request of Personal Privilege: We Are In A Huge Constitutional Crisis. Could We Layoff The Romney-Bashing For A While?
We are in a huge Constitutional and practical crisis in our country. Obama and the DC Dems are trying to ram Government Socialized medicine through by any way they can, legal or otherwise.
They are doing so for one reason. If they make 51% of the voters dependent on the government, they will be in power forever. This is what they want.
I know Mitt Romneys positions anger many here, but he will not run for any office foe the next 2 ½ years. Lets stop the Romney-bashing videos for a while.
Lets focus on todays problems, so we will be sure of having an election in 2012.

We Are In A Huge Constitutional Crisis. Could We Layoff The Romney-Bashing For A While? I don't give a flip about Romney one way or the other. But how does one's exercise of free speech regarding a politician have any impact upon the fight over the "health care" bill?
Your attempt to quash people's opinions is amateur and transparent.

I promise to bash Romney only when he deserves it.
If you make those posts into a ping list, be sure to warn everybody that it's a high-volume list. LOL.

All the real freepers are still here, the site is still true to its basic principles which are conservative and the antithesis of what Romney stands for every other week. The site still tops all other conservative forums and there are still plenty of other topics posted, as many as there have ever been with just a lively debate as ever.
The only reason the Mitt threads stand out is because there is no need for debate, he is a lying liberal scumbag, but his sycophants just won't shut up and someone has to run counter to his money and his mouth pieces to keep the uninformed up to speed lest he get the nod.
So either you are lying or not paying attention.
Given you are a Mitt sycophant, I have a suspicion of which one.
It's the Mitt sycophants and their ilk who have left, either on their own or as most common, tossed out on their asses...
BTW you should have pinged Jim since you mentioned Mr. R...

Lets solve today's crisis today. Are you suggesting that Freepers can't think about more than one issue at a time? Man, that is insulting.

I think we can fight health care and recognize that Romney is a phony at the same time. It’s not too difficult.

I second the motion. I understand the positions of his detractors. However, this country is desperately in need of his business knowhow. He has made a hugely successful career of fixing broken businesses. Think of the benefit of having Bain analyze government opperations and recommend where effective cuts can be made regarding government waste. We need a season of getting this nation in shape fiscally first. Then we can concentrate on getting that candidate who has never sinned - one that has been pro-life since birth.

Actually, I meant “good luck” because some people are Johnny One Notes on him.
I have faith that the primaries will weed him out AGAIN. I’m fully aware of his flip floppin’ record; I don’t need it drilled into my head every 5 minutes on FR.

Romney is a big-government hack. I agree, he’s not a Marxist in theory, but he supports Bambi on a lot of things and his term as governor of MA revealed absolutely nothing conservative. There is no reason to even think of him as the GOP candidate, although he’s obviously trying to get there the way Bloomberg did, with his personal fortune. I have seen article after article in the last several days calling him the “GOP’s sure choice,” yada, yada, yada.
He isn’t, and if they do pick him, I wouldn’t vote Republican because I think his overall mindset is no different from Obama’s and he would be perfectly happy to run the all-powerful state that Obama wants to create.

We’re capable of more than one thing. Romney is part of the problem and is CLEARLY positioning himself for a run in 2012.
If he stayed out of the news everyone would forget about him.

I dislike Mr. Romney, but that makes a lot of sense - one needs to keep a proper order of priorities, and quite frankly, as you put it, if the fascists, I mean democrats, get their way with Obastardcare, and if we cannot convincingly win in 2010, then 2012 is nothing more than a pointless, stupid dog-and-pony show.

Somewhat similar, and Romney care has increased healthcare costs in that state.

Baloney. He is a liberal pretending to be a conservative and it does not work. We saw through his lies the last time around. Why would any conservative support him?

Oh give me a break with your Romney excuses. Romney himself has welcomed the idea of a nationalized health care system, and continues to use his failed RomneyCare as an alleged good example- and has been very 'tempered' with any criticism of ObamaCare. Even now, his RINO mouth is shut.
Republicans may be complicit in the slow boat but Romney has opened up all motors and moved it ahead faster than anyone.
Romney is a damn fool and I will NEVER vote for that piece of sh!t.
