A very dangerous act is being attempted by the Left to secure their rule over the American people and transform the legislative process from a Constitutional Republic to a government by fiat. Today on Fox News Sunday, Democratic leader Rep. Chris Van Hollen admitted Democrats intend to use the unconstitutional “Slaughter Rule” as a solution to ram nationalized health care through Congress without majority vote and in defiance to the will of the American people.
The Slaughter rule would declare that the House of Representatives “deems” the Senate health care bill “passed” by the House. House members would have to vote on whether to accept the rule, but would then be able to claim they only voted for a rule, not for the bill itself. In other words, Democrats will avoid a direct vote on the health care bill while allowing it to become law! They will take over one-sixth of the US economy without voting on it in direct violation to the legislative process defined by the U.S Constitution. Article I, Section VII, Clause II specifically states,
"Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States;... But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively."

This scares me. If the right is screaming, everyone hears it, because we don’t do it often. When we do it’s important. If the right goes ape, the Republic is in crisis due to the left and the gloves are off. That scares me because the country I knew may be gone.

The writing has been on the wall since the DNC ran Dukakis as a potential POTUS. When I was a HS kid, Dukakis told my class he was a Marxist.

In 2005 I posted on my blog that when the normally quiet Free Republic starts to respond to the Left with the same outrage they direct our way civil war would be the result.
Just take a look at the last one - The South became violent in talk and action. They reduced the Congress to a debating society. Finally, the Republicans couldn’t take it any longer and elected Lincoln and formed their regiments to march South to end the division.
The ominous parallels between 2010 and 1860 are many and scary - Even the political parties involved are the same and the issue is the same: slavery or freedom.
The time for marching and protesting are over if this happens.

We tried ‘peaceful’ protests last summer. They didn’t work.
It’s time to get angry. Our very lives and freedoms are at stake. We must defeat this attempted Communist takeover at all costs.
Get to the phones. There will be many distractions this week, i.e. 0bama, Michelle or one of his kids (God forbid) falling ill, a major (manufactured or allowed) terrorist attack, Pelosi has a stroke, an assassination attempt (again real or contrived), etc. Something big will happen this week to gain sympathy for the White House.
This coming week will determine the course of America’s future.

If they pass this, then there will be no Constitution to use for impeachment. We will all instantly become subjects, slaves or servants.
However, I feel that the Congressman/woman who has the guts to officially call for his impeachment on the House floor could most likely be our next President if they chose to run.
The corruption at the highest level, supported by the old media, means this government is a lost cause. For those wanting a very good read about a different option, I highly recommend they read the book title “The Grey Book.”

I agree with you. I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils, and if the republicans run a RINO and he loses it will not be my fault for not voting for the RINO...it'll be the fault of the republican party for running an unelectable candidate.
