There’s been 3 Republican Governors since 1966, but there has only been 4 Democrats, TR. It wasn’t until recently they could run for a second consecutive term, and Gary Johnson was the first to do so (Richardson only the second). The GOP could usually run close races (later Congressman Joe Skeen and Pete Domenici each ran exceptionally well in the 1970s), faring more poorly in this decade. Dave Cargo was a RINO, Garrey Carruthers was a bit better during his term (1987-91). I wasn’t crazy about Johnson.

I have never heard of this guy before, Kokesh, obviously lying about his discharge summary and the rest of this as it appears reflects poorly on his character, but surely advocating for a policy of nonintervention doesn’t make one a ‘traitor’.
Ron Paul endorses many candidates, to tie him to bad apple isn’t reflective. To call him a ‘Turd’ suggests you may be unfamiliar with his views. Since it is around tax time:

I have no doubt the paulbots are busy as little ACORNs scrounging votes.
I wish you could have been in the 9/12 forum yesterday for the "debate" over Kokesh.
The paulistas are sounding more like moonbats every day.
My belief that we need to kill terrorists has somehow been construed as support for genocide. Go figure.
The 9/12 Project needs some fumigating. There is a serious infestation of trolls.

I am very familiar with Turd Paul. I gave money to him back in the 80’s before I wised up.

I expect we’ll take back NM-2 with ex-Congressman Pearce. We have an outside chance in NM-1 (the ABQ seat) with Jon Barela. NM-3 is less likely, since that’s a heavily Dem district (though we won it in the ‘90s in a special when the Green and Dem candidates split the vote), but keeping Kokesh off the ballot is imperative. What is interesting is that none of the three freshman Democrat House members have particularly impressive reelect or approval ratings. In fact, even the 3rd, they’re ALL under 50%. If Mullins upends Ben Luján, that will be an epic tidal wave.

I think it was the VFW PAC that did the endorsing LB. The VFW, by its charter, cannot endorse political candidates.

Bob, you are a good guy, write the NH VFW and explain it to the State Leadership. How is the ticker bye the way, I was concerned.

So......is it final that Kokesh didn’t make the grade and won’t be on the ballot (at least not as an R)?

I remember that. Did you speak to the current VFW state commander, or the previous one (John Calo)? IIRC, he hit the roof as well when he heard the VFW PAC endorsed Che, fired a letter off telling them to pull their endorsement, but they never did. I lost a lot of respect for that organization when that happened.

Old hispanic families (circa 1600) and transplanted hippies, add some Navajo in the 4 corners region. Solidly DIM.
Except for Farmington. The one island of sanity in the liberal pool that is the 3rd CD. IIRC, San Juan County went over 60 percent for McCain.

Denial is not a river in Egypt. It also doesn’t bode well for you that you play the ignorance card. Begone, Paulbot, and take your anti-American “troofers” and other assorted malcontents with you.

While you're at it, please expose groups like Republican Liberty Caucus, the RonPaul et al lie-bertarians who pose as Republicans and run in congressional races across the countryYou are a big-time Giuliani shill. You're damned lucky you survived the '08 primary with your FR membership intact. Just saying.

It looks to me that all this does is list Mullins first and Kokesh second on the ballot for the actual primary on June 1, provided that Kokesh has at least 656 valid signatures on his nominating petitions. (328 is the threshold otherwise).
The 20% rule doesn’t say anything about rounding, simply “twenty percent or more.” 19.99% is not 20% or more.
