Stupak Slams His Own Democratic Party (Jaw-Dropping Accusation about Mindset of Party of Abortion)
National Review ^ | National Review

Posted on 03/13/2010 7:51:20 AM PST by quesney

Can't believe the National Review buried this nugget in the article. Disturbing, to say the least.

-----

Stupak notes that his negotiations with House Democratic leaders in recent days [about the health care plan] have been revealing. “I really believe that the Democratic leadership is simply unwilling to change its stance,” he says. “Their position says that women, especially those without means available, should have their abortions covered.” The arguments they have made to him in recent deliberations, he adds, “are a pretty sad commentary on the state of the Democratic party.”

What are Democratic leaders saying? “If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing,” Stupak (a pro-Life Democrat opposing the bill) says. “Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue — come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we’re talking about.”

They will turn this around and say its about moms who can't afford another child, and the life of the mom and other children should be protected from the additional monetary stress a baby will cause.

Don't they know condoms are cheap?

This is true. Why it’s kept under such secrecy is another topic.

In addition, there should be a greater awareness of the long-term effects of the birth control pill on women’s overall health.

There can be no mention of anything negative about abortion in the MSM, Hollywood or public education as these are all temples of the Liberal / Progressive religion.

and abortion is the blood sacrament of that religion

I heard on today’s F&F about the suggestion that we “put down” people as we do our pets and farm animals. I guess that’s going to be the next big push?

That will happen after its passed and we can't do anything about it. I have heard everyone say once this thing is passed, it can't be repealed. I'd like to know why not. When its something this bad, there has to be a way to repeal it. I think its just hard and Republicans just don't have the stomach to fight anymore. If the Republicans win big this November it won't be because of anything good they have done, it will be because of the bad the Democrats have done.

Conservatives see government as a cost that the people must bear. But liberals see people as a cost that the government must bear.

Nicely put, indeed!

If "millions more" aren't born now and later, there won't be enough working chickens around for plucking in order to distribute to the welfare and entitlement leeches who will be in the MAJORITY in the future.

Fifty percent of Americans don't pay any federal taxes NOW.

You don’t actually think women should be expected to go through the hassle of getting birth control and using it, do you? How cruel! Why she might not have transportation or maybe she has no hands or maybe she has a phobia about birth control or..... or..... something. (s)

“Isn’t Stupak “only” pro-life but liberal on everything else, like many regular Catholics?”

I have no idea. Pretty much all of the conservatives that you would recognize as such have left. And it doesn’t really matter.

The issue here is that the moonbats have a secure position from which to operate. I say make it less secure. I say make them defend their safe districts. I say make their victories pyrhhic ones.

Ya gotta wonder where the country would be if the aborted children of the past 35+ years had survived.

I remember years ago that black woman that Clinton appointed surgeon general, Jocelyn Elders, said that the people who were going to pay her social security were dying of aids and in her words, "that bothers me." I remember Rush replied that the generation that was going to pay his social security was being aborted and that bothers him. I thought what a great answer to this leftist scum.

Abort means terminate. So yes you can abort them, meaning abort the life they would have lived had they been allowed to live.

check out Hugh Hewitt website. He has a email system to send letters to Blue Dogs.
http://hughhewitt.com

He also has a link to the Tim Burns, the Republican trying to take Murtha’s old seat.

Send him a contribution to send a message to the Democrats.

Under the KenyanCare, baby boomers will be allowed to die before their time.

It will start out like that, then it will advance to forced euthanasia. Old people won't be able to even have a choice anymore. If they get sick and choose to go to a DR., they will be terminated against their or their familys will. Thats the way its been in Norway for years. I remember our Pastor talking about visiting an old couple he knew in Norway back in 1995, and the guys wife was very sick. He said he told the guy that she needed to go to the hospital and he said he didn't dare take her because they would kill her.

After they get rid of all they can by forced euthanasia, they will advance to actually requiring people to show up for their own death, much like in Nazi Germany when they would send out letters requiring Jews to show up at a Jewish run concentration camp. By then people will have accepted this as normal and old folks who flee will have an arrest warrant issued for them. They never stop. This is just the beginning.

On the up side, many more Democrats have abortions than Republicans. As most people tend to vote the way their parents do (did), that means Democrats are eliminating future Rat voters. Since 1973, that’s been enough to make the difference in who was elected President in 2004. Or so the statisticians said.

A cynical observation, yes, but interesting, isn’t it?
