Never thought I would miss Bush-43 after his spending binge, but now the spending binge under Obama dwarfs anything Bush spent. So, yes, I miss him.

Do I miss George Bush?
Depends on the subject. Compared to the current Administration ... yes. But that might not always be my answer, as I said ... depends on the subject.

Why would I miss a RINO, especially a RINO like Jorge Bush?

He jogs, works on his memoirs and has made some public appearances, such as talking to Southern Methodist University students and thanking the local hardware store that offered him a greeter's job when he moved back to Texas. I love Texas.

I don’t miss Bush. One of the reasons we are in the mess we are in today is because of people like McCain, Bush , and Rove. Please spare me the all to eager to compromise, wussy platitudes of W. He would have sold this country to Mexico had not 9/11 interrupted his plans for amnesty

Never thought I would miss Bush-43 after his spending binge, but now the spending binge under Obama dwarfs anything Bush spent. So, yes, I miss him. Same sentiments here. He, of course, was far from perfect but I recall President Reagan's wise words that ``...an 80 percent friend is not a 20 percent enemy...''. As every day goes back, I reflect back on how ``the decider'' was just that. President George W. Bush was decisive where it counted and along with Vice President Cheney kept our nation safe. He was (and is) a gentleman who brought dignity to the office unlike the current occupant of the White House.
All IMHO...

I only miss Bush in comparison to Obama. But given that Obama is the worst president in history any other president would be an improvement, so that's not saying much.

What I really miss, and what this country really needs, are a President and Congress who understand that our government has gotten far too large, is intruding too much into our lives, and needs to be rolled back. That certainly isn’t Obama and this Democratic Congress - unfortunately it wasn’t Bush and Tom DeLay’s and Dennis Hastert’s Congress either.

I will love and respect the man and his family for the rest of my life. I believe that someday when THIS media has gone its’ way, he will be ranked as one of the greatest Presidents in History.

Please add your vote to this poll at Star-Tribune. The paper is actually the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, oft-referred to as the StartleGram. Now owned by the questionable McClatchy outfit from California, it used to be a good source for news when the colorful Amon Carter owned it.

The poll is:
Do you miss President Bush?
* Yes. I agree with the "Miss Me Yet?" campaign.
* No. It was time for a change.
No other options.
When they put it that way, yeah, I guess I do kind of miss Bush.
