So much for the MSM refrain about Republicans having previously used reconciliation just as Dems are proposing to do so now on ObamaCare . . .
Larry O'Donnell has emphatically proclaimed that the way Dems intend to use reconciliation is "unprecedented" and has "never, never, never" been so used before. O'Donnell's many off-his-meds rants notwithstanding [recent example here], he actually does understand the legislative process, having served as Dem Chief of Staff of the Senate Committee on Finance back in the HillaryCare day.

Flying pig alert: Larry O’Donnell admits reconciliation never used like this before. Ping to Today show list.
I saw this. Is O’Donnell trying to get some credibility back?
Something about a broken clock comes to mind.
And reconciliation is just a trojan horse, the House must pass the Senate version first.
“No one has given me the example of the party that passed the thing the public didn’t want in order to win an election.”
And a holy cow!! Is this a sentence that makes sense? From Larry O’Donnell? Just wow.
Maybe O’Donnell is trying to save the Dems from themselves.
Wow, a moment of lucidity in a life of idiocy... Thanks Larry, you can get off your meds now and go back to normal stark raving lunatic Larry...
He realizes it’s a dangerous precedent, especially now that we’re on the precipice of electing a more conservative congress.
I just hate the lies of John O'Neill. I hate lies. It's not an argument; they're proven lies. . . . O'Neill's a liar, he's been a liar for 35 years about this, and he's found other liars [unintelligible]. . . . They lied! . . . They're lying somewhere! . . . Lies! Just tell me the initials, you liar! Creepy liar! . . . You are a liar who makes things up!
ROTFL! He sounds like a silly little high school girl having a hissy fit...
I think he was. He deunked the idea that Dems. would be better off if they pass this. he said thete never has been an instance that candidates for office were better off for voting for something that over 50% of their constituency didn’t want.
He’s auditioning for Olby’s gig which will be open soon and he’s heard they need someone not quite so crazy.
In the short term, I don’t think the Dems are going to get away with this.
In the long term though, I expect them to turn their sights on “fixing” the Senate so that the next time they take a majority along with the WH, they won’t be hamstrung with any procedural roadblocks to their agenda.
The Libs love to latch onto long-term projects that enhance their power. Like getting liberal Sec of States in place after Florida 2000 (this gave you Sen. Al Franken). Or going after seats on the Texas School Textbook Committee.
THANK YOU!!!!! I saw this on Morning Joe and was SHOCKED at his honesty and SANITY!!
ah ha
Lyin’ Liars O’Donnell?
