We’ve done a million posts about this three-way match-up but I don’t think we’ve done one yet about a key swing state. Not what I would have predicted. Florida’s the first really important stop on the GOP calendar that we’ve looked at, and Romney’s lead there is overwhelming. He gets 52% to 21% for Huckabee and 18% for Palin. It’s closer, but still a double digit advantage, in Colorado. There Romney gets 44% to 25% for Palin and 17% for Huckabee.

Palin has already indicated that if the circustances are right, she would run. No other candidate has made that type of comment that I know of. If you know of such a Romney comment, then post the quote.
It's also possible she could be the clear frontrunner going into 2012, stumble in Iowa, do 3 weeks of personal barnstorming and kick Willard's a$$ in NH, and then roll through the South to the nomination...just like Ronald Reagan did in 1980 (except it was that prissy elitist GHW Bush whose a$$ Reagan kicked and not Mittens).

See, this not ready is something I don’t understand. She’s got a TON of executive experience. In every position she’s held she’s proved she can roll up her sleeves, kick butt and get the job done, regardless of how “new” the job is. Those people who succeed grandly at new challenges are the ones best suited for huge, critical jobs. Never, ever in my lifetime did I think I’d have the chance to vote for another Reagan, but Palin is the real deal. Every other choice we have (so far) is a bunch of good ole boy political insiders (and that includes Romney...way too slick for me) or senators and congressmen who have proven they can work in large groups but not as executives. I hope she does run. She can win. Like Reagan, she’s been grossly underestimated, sadly, most often by her own party.

Palin has the more interesting choices. She could become wealthy and influential as a daytime TV talk show host, or she can run for President. Romney has money, but he could never host a show that to rival Oprah.
I would be very comfortable with her in the White House when you consider the absolute anti-American moron that’s in there now. She’d be toast with the media (but then, which Republican presidents haven’t been).
The way Romney is being talked up it must be his “turn”.

Friend, that is a lame-stream media, Democrat Kool-Aid talking point. Sarah Palin has as much, or more foreign policy experience as most border state governors.
Alaska not only borders Canada, but also Russia and Arctic Circle nations. She had to deal with issues relating to all of them, while governor of Alaska.
Seriously, you should read her book to discover her depth on foreign policy.
I don’t care who McCain endorses, I support Sarah Palin for President in 2012.

There are 2 women I regard as national treasures, Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter--not necessarily in that order. I have a laundry list of honorable mentions too.

THE ARTICLE glibly explains that Romney has 6 PACS he’s using to keep hundreds on his payroll and he has legions of these staffers entrenched at the RNC. Plus every week there’s a hit at Palin by these Romney supporters in the media. This weakling is too insecure to run on his own ideas and record, he has to pay henchmen/women to continue to attack Palin. Romney through his sycophants have attacked Palin a hundred to one versus how often they’ve attacked obama.
But Ron Paul is really too old to run again; he does well enough representing his district in the Congress, anyway. Rand Paul, however, is young -- still in his forties -- and will likely inherit de facto leadership of the Paul faction.
And I think it's safe to assume that Senator Rand Paul will throw that support towards Sarah Palin, because:
So, like I said -- I think that you can figure on Senator Rand Paul probably (not for certain, but probably) throwing most of his dad's Primary supporters to Sarah Palin, and so just add 8-10% to her totals in each of these polls. Paul's 2008 supporters may not be backing anyone yet en masse, but I personally think that most will end up throwing their support to Palin, as the most "libertarian Republican" (or at least "small-government federalist", anyway) candidate available in 2012.
In which case, her share of these early (way too early) preference polls would be in at least a strong second place in a bunch of these States.
