Romney tops bestseller list
Politico ^ | 3/10/2010 | Ben Smith

Mitt Romney's new book, "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," will debut on top of the New York Times bestseller list due out March 21, a source tells me.

Romney's book tour has, so far, attracted pretty large crowds, serving -- along with the book sales -- to reassure his supporters that, though he may not draw Sarah Palin style hordes, he's a figure of genuine popular interest.

My first choice would be Sarah Palin but if that doesn’t materialize I’d love to see Romney as our nominee. The holy wars on FR would be extremely entertaining. Lol. I can’t wait to watch you geniuses have to choose between a Mormon and a guy with some roots in Islam. Priceless.

Where are the crowds - there is nothing in the news about it. This is the 2nd bogus thread about his #1 position.

Dude, you are about to get spammed. I mean like putting your home address, email address and phone number on Facebook spammed. I hope you have a thick skin.

I also assume you won't read any of the things that are going to get posted to you because Romney supporters don't like reading facts.

Typical Ben Politico Smith. Mitt has crowds, Sarah has hordes.

Don't assume that because Palin draws big crowds, she has huge support. The people who go out to see her have ONE vote just like the people who stay home. Because some of her fans are fanatical doesn't mean she has widespread popularity. Only a politically naive person would make that assumption.

Don't get me wrong. I like Palin but I'm open to a lot of people at this time. Maybe a candidate will emerge who we haven't even considered yet. I never heard of Palin two years ago.

Let's focus on 2010 and taking back the House and Senate. That's job #1. We can wait till mid-2011 at the very earliest to start thinking about 2012.

Its a book on Romney’s positions on major political issues? Where do they stock it, in the mystery section of the store?

Yes and I can take care of these clowns very easily. They are no match for me. I’m confident in what I said. To me abortion isn’t the end all of everything even though I’m pro life. It’s bigger than that and when I hear Romney talking about Economics, he’s smarter than any candidate I can remember. And also if you are very conservative, you simply are not going to be Governor of Massachusetts. I’m confident Romney is much more conservative than you think and No I don’t work for the Romney Campaign.

Strange how Romney’s Mormonism became such an issue. I have to wonder, after four years of Obama, if it would be so in 2012.

"Romney talking about Economics,

Do you have Kluver-Bucy syndrome?

“Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

People on this site need to understand that the country isn't conservative but middle of the road. Just because we have mostly conservatives here, doesn't mean they are everywhere.

And what exactly are you implying?

You aren't pro-life. The very fact that you will trade it off for other "perceived" goods makes me want to slap you till your bloody to wake you up.
