It's early, but Mitt Romney still seems intent on repeating his mistaken 2008 handling of the abortion issue. Here he was today on "Imus in the Morning":

You don’t have to worry about that, I don’t have that power.
Make you do typos, yes.
Zot anyone, no.
LOL, thanks.
Subjects that I am passionate about tend to make it hard for me to keep that cloak of civility on.
(Econuts for example.)
I’m the same way. When something gets me riled I tend to go ‘beserker’.
My family has given my ‘dark side’ a nickname. They are glad when he comes out to play and they it is fun to watch as long as the anger isn’t directed at them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there is all of that, but you have to admit he does have nice hair.
Yes.
Even for a politician, he's pretty blatant about it.
How hard is it to understand the Mitt Romeny is a liberal.
Never pro-choice what a freaking liar.
Bless your little heart, Mittens. It’s time for you to go away now.
LOL! My sentiments exactly....
...Great Pic!
The argument against abortion is the easiest to win against a liberal POS like yourself. I am surrounded by young liberals who think aborting is a right. I have never, NEVER, lost an argument about this with the aforementioned group. The fact that it is still obtainable is horrendous. There is no argument on your behalf.
Lying Mitt Weasel Alert!
LOL! I did not even get to the 50+ hotlink before I posted my mini-rant. Good job with the ZOT!!!
All of Mitt’s pro-abortion stance’s need to be in a separate thread to keep confusion to a minimum. JMHO
Actually, I wasn't, I was trying to understand why people were so ferociously objecting to his conversion. I merely asked if it shouldn't be regarded as a positive development. I have since however found your post instructive:
"People do not believe Mitt Romney is truthful about anything, but more and more are starting to think that they can believe his past life before he started running for the 2008 primary."
I realize that it has nothing to do with abortion at all, but a visceral distrust and therefore dislike of the man irrespective of the issue.
I wonder however if it would just be more effective to say: I'm glad Romney has become pro-life...I still don't trust him or want him to be president, rather than making it seem like you're fighting him over abortion.
To each his own however.
You think that he and his wife are lying about abortion though, you think that he was pro abortion and suddenly became pro life because of the conversation with the scientist.
As lame as that conversion story is, the scientist says that they didn’t have that lame conversation, so is Romney still lying about his abortion position?
I hadn't heard the story about the scientist claiming that it wasn't true. Let's assume for the sake of argument that the scientist did say that. Why would Romney make that story up? It would be a gratuitous lie. That's weird and stupid; whatever his faults he's not stupid. What's your source on that, I'd like to check it out.
Mitt will be called “the only one who can win” by his supporters.
They will say, “Only Mitt can defeat [issue of the moment]”.
Abortion is murder.
You're joking right? Are you reading our posts?
It was a very lame "conversion" story for a 59 year old pro abortion guy anyway, that had been a Priest, a Bishop, and a stake President, and a post roevWade, post Reagan, post abortion wars, Republican politician.
As far as a "gratuitous lie" being "weird and stupid"?
Seriously, are you reading our posts, the man is a compulsive liar that lies when their is nothing to even lie about, did you see post 80 for just a hint of his "weird and stupid" lies?
