Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is helping out her former running mate with a high dollar fundraiser at the Arizona Biltmore.
Palin will be courting contributions for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) the GOPs 2008 presidential nominee on March 23 as part of her swing through Arizona to aide his re-election campaign.
For $2,500, McCain donors can attend an hour-long reception with the former GOP vice presidential nominee and get a chance for a picture with Palin.
Those not attending the reception can pay $500 each for a two-hour dinner, or $1,000 for preferred seating.
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), along with Arizona GOP Reps. Jeff Flake, Trent Franks and John Shadegg will also be at the fundraiser.

We all know that the MSM is out to get Sarah and here we simply have a vague story about an unsubstantiated rumor that Sarah is doing a direct fundraiser for McCain.
hahaha...a Palinista to the last?
SARAH!!
STOP IT!!!!
STOPP IT NOW!!!!
John McCain is neither YOUR friend, NOR ours.
He is only John McCain’s friend.
If you are going to do something, do it well.
A lame attempt might impress someone somewhere; but the rest of the GOP wants to know what a Palin endorsement and support is actually WORTH.
Almost worthless if all it entails is a statement of support.
I don't know how people got this impression...wishful thinking I suppose. Palin has been very vocal that she will only support common sense conservatives. As she is quite high profile in her support of McCain, one can only believe that she thinks McCain is a common sense conservative. If she did not believe this, she would be a hypocrite.
She has made her choice and now real conservatives will have to work that much harder to defeat McCain....and, unfortunately, along with him, Palin.
This is nothing more than an other attempt by the MSM to discredit Sarah Palin.
Curious how is the truth if this is the truth a discredit to Palin by the MSM? It’s Palin who is abetting the fundraising not the MSM.
What do you want to do with the tiny minority of members of this forum who do not support Sarah Palin? I am one of them. May be you should petition the owner of this forum to ban us all, we are not needed on this forum and for certain we will not impact at all his fundraising. He can start with me.

Since she is raising money for McCain, she must support him — and his legislation.
Which would include amnesty for illegals.
Assaults on the First and Second Amendment.
Cap & Trade.

In for a penny, in for a pound, Sarah.
Nothing will demonstrate Sarah Palin’s power more than if McCain is defeated in this primary.
And yes I am serious.
the RSVP is by March 23. The actual event is March 26:

I knew it. I hate it. The conservative in AZ is Hayworth. Hardly makes her appear a “maverick,” although it does demonstrate loyalty. The best thing she could do would say, “no comment.”
She is well and truly becoming an Establishment Republican....book deal, FNC deal, speaking deal, support RINOs deal.
“In for a penny, in for a pound, Sarah.”
Sad but true. Sarah is now Juan McCain. So many RINOs.
Palin owes McCain nothing. She was the only bright spot in a failed campaign, and he treated her terribly. McCain forces granted her such selective influence as might increase their daily polling numbers, and then blamed her for their lack of success. It seems to me the loyalty issue is a guilt card one may or may not play successfully within the political class, which seldom displays integrity. I believe any association with McCain has and will only degrade Palin.
Those politically active people, such as Palin, who want smaller government and greater freedom do not understand they are in a war without bloodshed against an implacable enemy. The town hall meetings and tea party movement seem to indicate some folks are willing to acknowledge (for now) the existence of a long standing declaration of war by liberals/progressives. They must remain steadfast and only support leaders who have a genetic predisposition to freedom equivalent to the men who wrought the Miracle in Philadelphia.
Hmmm. Unsubstantiated rumor. Do you care that it might be true? And if it is, well, that’s ok too? The fact that she has even endorsed McLame, despite her loyalty, suggests that the “politics-as-usual” is alive and well in Palinville. She should stay out, if she can’t support the conservative.
“This is nothing more than an other attempt by the MSM to discredit Sarah Palin.”
So it’s a lie? She’s NOT campaigning and raising money for him? I do agree with you that the msm loves nothing more than attacking her but are they lying about her in this case?
I’m neither a supporter or critic . . . yet. But increasingly STUPID moves like this make me question her judgment. She could politely stay out, plead other engagements (which I’m sure she can get).
I had no idea what to expect. But her stumping for Slick Perry the amnesty princess in TX I guess was a prelude to her raising cash for the amnesty Queen.
I think I’ll pass
