JERUSALEM – Egypt is concerned Israel could be in a conflict in the very near future with Syria or the Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon, a senior Egyptian security official told WND.
The security official said in any future war with Syria or Hezbollah, both actors have been preparing to storm the Israeli border with guerillas and commandos, an act unseen here since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the last conflict in which Syria was openly involved.

That goes without saying. But at the same time, it would be profoundly in Egypt’s interests to do so. And even though reason is seldom a reason in the Middle East, if offered a low risk bargain in the process, even the Egyptians might come through for once.
Perhaps so but with the risks as high as they are now I tend to think Israel will not go to far out on a limb that’s been known to break even with the best of deals.
Futher...with tensions as high as they are with the iranian threat...(like it was in the Cuban missle crisis)...any steps by Israel will be especially measured.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Moscow in 2008.
Russian warships have returned to the naval base in the Syrian port of Tartus. Putin's Kremlin supplies the Syrians and Iranians, (who in turn supply Hamas & Hezballah terrorists) with updated Russian-built weapons systems, knowing one day these very weapons will be used against Israel.
When Damascus is obliterated, the Syrian public needs to hold Assad Jr accountable.

There is zero evidence of a Palistinian race or culture, so, these people that call themselves ‘Palistinian’ have to come from somewhere.
Philistia was such a small people, living where Gaza is now, they are meaningless in numbers to even be counted in my opinion.

The Philistines were possibly refugee “sea-peoples” fleeing upheavals (e.g. Thera volcano, destruction of Cretan civilization, etc.) and threats elsewhere in the Mediterranean. The Egyptian records speak at some length of these sea-people and state that they fought them as well.
