The EPA, which is threatening to regulate carbon emissions if Congress wont, is facing legal heat from states that say new regulations will kill jobs at the worst possible time.
The bitterly contested fight in Washington over global warming and pollution is also taking hold at the state level.
The Environmental Protection Agency, which is threatening to regulate carbon emissions if Congress wont, is facing legal heat from states that say new regulations will kill jobs at the worst possible time.
Texas, Alabama and Virginia, all led by Republican governors, have filed petitions since December, when the EPA ruled that greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide endanger human health, clearing the path for the agency to issue mandatory regulations to reduce them.
As the EPA grapples with the lawsuits, Congress is trying to block the agency from acting without congressional approval. Sen. John Rockefeller, D-W.Va., introduced legislation Thursday calling for a two-year suspension of potential EPA regulations.

The Environmental Protection Agency, which is threatening to regulate carbon emissions if Congress wont, is facing legal heat from states that say new regulations will kill jobs at the worst possible time. Forget the "job loss" excuse, sue the EPA for gross stupidity, ignorance of facts, and political butt kissing.

AGW has been a scam since day one and although the evidence continues to mount against it, the government marches on, oblivious to the will of the people, as well as the evidence refuting it.

It won’t matter. the EPA routinely ignores court decisions and orders it doesn’t like. EPA people have been overheard saying that they don’t have to listen to courts.

It wont matter. the EPA routinely ignores court decisions and orders it doesnt like. EPA people have been overheard saying that they dont have to listen to courts. But what they plan to do now is based upon a court ruling that said carbon dioxide is a pollutant. They listen to the court when it serves their purpose.

One half of my brain says to let the EPA have their way so the American people can see the policies in full effect. The other half of my brain says hell no because I periodically like to drive my car and have a job.
