Just posted the Glenn Beck special video on the indoctrination in schools..rushed to upload the video cause I know people would be wanting to see it when they got off work.. so video quality will improve this evening (after I get home from work...)and have a chance to upload from the DVR.

I was at a high school one evening last April for a function. Posted in a glass encased bulletin board in the main hallway was a flier for a meeting of the International Socialists Club. A student told me it was the most popular club in the school.
That balded headed commie, who is he? Beck is wonderful about telling us all about these progressive groups, but we need names. I want the name of every single person linked to every single one of these orgs.
They are like rats and only come out in the dark. Let's turn the lights on and keep them on

Maybe once a month he is.
I guess he didn't rail about Van Jones or the babe who like Mao today then. But did he dump on us weirdos who would like the issue of Obama's Constitutional eligibility to hold the office he does?

It was an excellent show...definitely worth watching! Beck says things that nobody else could get away with (and stay on the air, anyway.) His quoting of Malachi made an outstanding point.
We actually caught Beck’s show on Fox tonight at five. I’m the career political junkie; Hubby gets a good bit of his news from me. I KNOW I told him about that “Barack Hussen Obama, mmmm, mmmmm, mmmm” video, and I tried getting him to watch it on You Tube...well, tonight when Glen Beck ran that clip Hubby’s head jerked like somebody had poked him hard and turned to the TV as though it were on a well oiled swivel. He watched the entire show all the way through to the end without moving, an accomplishment for a man who can’t stand just sitting still.
Saw it ... thought it was lame ... as bad as yesterday’s ode to a chair.
The government skools really are rotten, the texts are dumbed-down, the curriculum is progressive, and there are a lot of incompetent teachers. There are a lot of facts that support these assertions, but Beck used precious few to support his argument.
In fact, some of his argument was bizarre. Al Gore’s blathering at a youth conference has nothing to do with government skools. I’m pretty sure that the kids attended with their parents consent and at their expense. Obama’s “Talk” is plenty creepy, but Beck failed to make the connection with government skools. And, unless I missed something, the communistic education crap that he highlighted was from college and university demonstrations, not primary and secondary government skools. There are no mandatory attendance requirements for colleges and universities.
Rudy Giuliani said it well in his “freedom is about authority” speech: “Schools exist in America and have always existed to train responsible citizens of the United States of America.” Government skools define “citizen” to mean precisely what they want it to mean. Need I say that “responsible” here means answerable to the State.
Obama and the Progressive Caucus of the Democrat Party won the election. They’re just doing in the skools what Giuliani said is the very basis for their existence. They’re just doing on their terms.
There are some points I would like to see covered. I understand that there are time constraints, and perhaps on another program he will cover them in some depth. I would have liked to have seen four things:
1) Emphasized more strongly to get your children OUT of the government schools.
2) Social Justice Marxism is being taught in too many private schools as well, so buyer beware.
3) Government schools are the very definition of socialism! Government take money from a neighbor to pay for a service parents want for tuition-free! Government schools have **AWAYS** been socialist. Simply by attending children become comfortable with accepting money from the government. It is a short step from accepting government paid for schooling to wanting other government socialist programs.
4) Since government schools are socialism, government schools can NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT be fixed!!! Because socialism can not be fixed.
Overall, given that this was one program, I thought he did an **excellent** job.
As I have posted many times since joining Free Republic:
Marxism is our nation's **most** serious threat. Schools are the Marxist's most powerful weapon against us.
OK I got the quality fixed..should be good now.
Glenn Beck did a good job.

I'm with you 100% on that issue ml/nj, which is as primary an issue as one can have on anybody's presidency.
...and no, WE are not weird. WE "question everything" ESPECIALLY when there are very valid reasons to question the topic at hand.
That said, Glenn Beck is accomplishing things that nobody on our side has ever accomplished in the visual media.
