Sarah Palin 'to star in reality TV show'

Sarah Palin is said to is said to have been in talks with a number of US networks to make a reality TV show that shows her family's life in Alaska.

According to some reports, the programme would follow the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, her husband and their five children.

But other reports refer to the proposed programme as a "docudrama" that would showcase Mrs Palin's home state of Alaska.

One television executive described the show as "'Planet Earth' meets Alaska meets her family."

She is said to have teamed up with Mark Burnett, the British producer behind shows including "The Apprentice" and "Survivor".

Mrs Palin had meetings with television executives on a trip to Los Angeles where she was appearing on a chat show.

That doesn’t qualify her for higher office, she has a good history of leadership for that.

What it does show is she knows how to work the media and culture and relate to people. It also shows that her judgment on what may or may not be a DUMB move (as you put it) has a lot more weight than your charge of what it is.

i reiterate - if she is doing this to capitalize on her fame and make money then God Bless. If she is doing this in an effort to stay relavent for higher office then she gives her opponents cannon fodder. they will mock her even more than before, MSM will have a field day, the independent squishy middle will not see her as a credible candidate and the only people voting for her will be her acolytes who think she does no wrong.

Where was the idea of a documentary specifically about AK history, resources, etc proposed? All I read was 'docudrama', and references to the apprentice with a twist on the Palin family. Sounds like it will be right up there with Ice Road Truckers in regard to Alaskan history & culture!!

For the record I am not a Palin fan. Furthermore, I fail to see how her fiscal policy and tax hikes when she was governor here can be labelled 'conservative'. Perhaps you can enlighten me?

So... If someone doesn't worship Palin, they are a "Troll" on FR? While I agree with her on most things, I've always believed her to be a lightweight. She continues to prove me right in that assumption. Quitting her job as governor was the beginning of her end if she had any higher political ambitions. Having said that, I doubt she plans on running for anything more. I surely hope she doesn't at this point. This is coming from someone that voted for McCain because I really liked her at the time.

You mean for example if someone keeps saying that Palin is trying to do a “reality show” when it’s pretty much everywhere on FR that it was a liberal lie and it has been since debunk by Palin, Burnett and by some Media isn’t a troll or at least someone who is trying to stir up things and no FRiend?
