She may have failed to become Americas vice-president but Sarah Palins transformation into a successful public figure has taken a fresh twist, as she tries her hand as a television documentary maker...
Sources close to Mrs Palin yesterday denied initial reports that the putative idea was a reality series featuring her and her family. They said instead that it would be a documentary, which she would produce, about the people, wildlife and geography of the state of which she was governor until quitting abruptly in July last year...

Do you like them? Which ones are they?
I know! :)
Conservatives are not afraid of debate. They welcome it because they know it sharpens them for future debates.
My problem is with people who put politicians on a pedestal. I expect that from liberals. I am disappointed if it comes from our side.
Oh, yeah. I’ve seen a couple episodes. Quite good. :)
Sarahbot? That’s your answer - you want to debate your slur?
My memory of evening star is that she is a Romney/Rudy Giuliani, strongly anti social conservative, pro homosexual libertarian if that helps explain why she trolls against Governor Palin and other conservative subjects.
Thanks. Another one for my list.
I can agree with you on the pedestal... not a fan. BUT... I don’t think it bodes well to discount and disparage a politician who has the potential to carry through the conservative message which positively benefits all. Just because some become a bit joyous and overzealous in their support, does not diminish the very POSITIVE effects - distributing the conservative message.
Maybe you should lighten up... just a bit. ; ~ )
There seems to be a nearly complete ignorance of Alaskan culture — or, more accurately, the cultures of the Alaskan peoples — amongst the self-proclaimed arbiters of culture festering in the urban jungles on the southern coasts.
It's not only a large territory; it's a very complex place to govern. As Governor, Palin had one of the most challenging jobs in the continent. She should have been treated with great respect — instead, the MSM and political and “cultural” elites mocked her at every turn. In so doing, they betrayed their ignorance, shallowness, and bigotry.
Documentaries done by the likes of Burnett would be immensely popular (for the visuals, and for the human interest). People would be sure learn valuable lessons from watching them.
Deadliest Catch is pretty cool and the Ice Road Truckers (when they had a blond young hottie driving last year)was good too
the other is about the Alaskan Highway Patrol(which I haven’t seen).. there might even be another show from up there.. Todd Palin could be a star on History or Travel Channel if they followed him salmon fishing, hunting big game, snowmachine racing and flying supplies around Alaska in his float plane
Perfect tie-in with the new tourism bill that was passed. Perhaps after AK, she’ll do the other 49 states!
EveningStar’s self description on FR offers clues:
I’m a conservative libertarian Republican. I’m also a Zionist. My interests include, but are not limited to, classical music, computing, politics, reading, South Park, food and spirits, science fiction, Judaism, and professional wrestling. I’m an expert in exactly none of these areas.
Prototype of a Libertarian Republican aka CPAC Conservative aka RuPaulian?
Bet Palin could teach Burnett a thing or two about making documentaries. Poor chap’s been stuck on reality shows, so far. Learn from mama.
Did Sarah ever refer to this as a reality show?
