Isn’t Scott Brown’s wife a news reader?

Scott Brown’s wife was a local anchor and they were able to avoid a conflict of interest.

However, Campbell Brown’s employer is a subsidiary of the Obama White House and Democrat Congress - although reaching only a few hundred constituents - it might still present a conflict.

Campbell Brown is married to a republican? Is he a RINO?

This conflict is nothing compared to the national scandal of scores of congressmen and Senators with spouses who directly benefit from votes by their partners. Many even have lobbyists who literally sleep with them at night.

Campbell Brown could not be less objective if she tried.

Who is she? What is CNN? Is it a tv station? Does the “C” stand for cartoons? If I had little kids this might be clearer.

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Dan Senor work in the Bush Administration?”

Press secretary, and a pretty good one.

I have never been able to fathom how a ultra conservative person could marry and ultra liberal person and make it work. Mary Matalin and the troll are the first couple that comes to mind.

I’ve been married for 24 years and we’ve been on the brink a few times both BEING staunch conservatives. There are enough forces pulling a couple apart as it is without interjecting such a volatile discrepancy as divergent politics.

Had my wife and I had to also deal with opposite views on politics, I dare say we would not only be divorced, one of us would be dead.

Can someone please answer how this is possible?

I really don't see the problem. Nobody seemed to wonder if she could remain as the Overstock.com girl when he was an Easter Island statue.

Somewhat off track but here’s an interesting question:
Campbell Brown is Catholic, Dan Senor is Jewish. Is this a valid Catholic Marriage?

Campbell Brown’s father...........

James Harvey “Jim” Brown, Jr. (born May 6, 1940), is a political consultant and political commentator based in Baton Rouge long active in Louisiana Democratic politics. In 1972, he was elected to both the Louisiana state Senate, to which he served two terms, and to the 1973 Constitutional Convention. He was secretary of state from 1980-1988, and he ran unsuccessfully for governor in the 1987 jungle primary. He was elected insurance commissioner in 1991 and served until his resignation in October 2000. Brown’s political career closed with a six-month prison sentence for lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the status of an insurance company.

Then there’s Maria and Arnold in CA.

Oh, and David Gregory and his wife, Beth Wilkins, who was a principal at Fannie Mae.

Personally I think this would constitute a huge conflict of interest if CNN had any viewers, but as things are this is probably a non-issue.

Campbell Brown is a beautiful woman with the worst voice of any woman in broadcast journalism. The sound of her voice can actually curdle milk.

But, since, according to the ratings, no one watches her, the question is a mute point,
