Winds gusting over 25 knots and big windshifts forced an early end to the second day of racing in the Omega Auckland Match Racing Regatta today – after some spectacular early action saw the teams at the edge of control.

Er....if someone's going to use the word "spectacular" in reference to a regatta, there needs to be sharks involved. Or a giant, man-eating squid.

At the very least, the Creature From The Black Lagoon.

Wouldn’t be too bad if one of the entries was a Viking Long Ship. And treasure was randomly hidden on one of the other boats
