THE NEXT BIG THING (liberal Media Matters hiring intern trolls)
bigjournalism.com ^ | Mar 4 2010 | Andrew Breitbart

Posted on 03/04/2010 9:27:19 AM PST by Mamzelle

Please read about Breitbart's opening salvo against John Podesta and Media Matters.

This is not paranoia. Media Matters, a Soros outfit, is hiring "interns" to come on conservative forums and try to sow division, slow down momentum, forment confusion. And they are better at it than they used to be. They don't curse and swear like liberals on their own forums do.

I know how you feel. The only “secret” information I have is what I pick up from them. Which is pretty much the same as last week’s secret, and the week before that, etc. They are even recycling the second BC, the one the admitted perjurer Lucas Smith(?) was trying to sell.

And they are recycling the same old legal BS, too. Amazing. Now they have discovered that Elmo Plopp, an assistant spittoon cleaner at Sam Adam’s place allegedly said “natural born citizens” were better tippers than “them people who had lived overseas.” Because a lot of the founders drank at Sam’s tavern, the Founders meant NBCs couldn’t ever have lived overseas.

They are calling it Plop’s Law, and it obviously will trump Wong and a whole host of cases. It is amazing what one can learn if one listens.

I feel sorry for the followers. They don’t know any better.

parsy, who would beg Obama to free these Birthers...
Ever so often, they leave the Birther Grotto unguarded.....

“You will never get back these lost hours. I just hope you have had some sort of blessing out of it, either a deeper appreciation of the law, or skills at research. Something.”

What you are doing here is not a sincere expression that you hope he reaps some benefit as a result of the “lost hours.”

The only message you intend to convey is your claim that the time was wasted.

Maybe, if you keep trying (while using your own hours so productively), you can convince others to look away from Obama’s eligibility problem.

Funny how words like “truth,” “reason” and “logic” are now showing up in your posts.

Could it be that somebody recently taught you, through demonstrable fact, that truth and logic are precisely what is missing in leftist (progressivist) thought?

Indeed.

So, just to sum up your belief structure, Parsy ...

As we first established:

Do you trust Barack Hussein Obama? *no*
Do you trust Obama’S 2008 Chicago campaign office? *no*
Do you trust FactCheck’s Tweedle Dumb & Tweedle Dumber? *no*
Do you trust Pelosi & the Democratic National Committee? *no*
Do you trust the chain of evidence on Obama’s COLB? *no*

We have further established:

Did the Hawaii newspapers confirm they ran Obama’s birth announcements? *no*
Is Fukino is qualified to make a determination on Obama’s NBC Eligibility? *no*
Did Fukino confirm her office sent the COLB to Obama’s Campaign staff? *no*

BUT ... you "believe"?

... are you really, REALLY sure you didn't vote for him?!

Of course I think he wasted his time. That’s obvious. You start with the cases first, not the treatises. Treatises aren’t law. So you have wasted time, period.

Now, I could tell him that and ask him to cry over spilt milk. Or I could suggest he try to find some good in it. And, I can sincerely hope that he and others do not continue to waste their time and whatever else, which I do.

This isn’t the first wild goose chase to get sold to people. I recall the one where there were seminars that people went to where some clown sold them a book which said the 16th(?) Amendment wasn’t legal, so they didn’t have to pay taxes. Heck, it all looked real legal and legit. AND, they paid for it.

And the “Federal Common Law Liens” thing. I hear that rooked a bunch of folks in Texas.

So go look at WND, and look at all the stuff for sale. Or all the birther websites where they solicit money. And falsely get peoples hopes up. I may laugh at the birthers, but I also feel sorry for them. Most of them are being taken advantage of.

parsy, who says Obama could stop it.

Truth and logic are no more missing in progressive thought than any other kind of thought. Do you think that people who disagree with your politics are some other kind of life form, separate and complete from humanity? Perhaps they just disagree.

That’s why you have debates and arguments. If everybody thought the same we would be like North Koreans or something. Even conservatives disagree. Are the conservatives you disagree with devoid of truth and logic?

Heck you have a whole bunch of Libertarians who I think get most of “it” wrong. But they are not immune to truth or logic. (so long as you can pry that copy of Atlas Shrugged out of their hands)

From your posts, you seem to think that leftists are from Mars or something. If they were, they would never grow up and become conservatives, which many do. Horowitz??? You need to do a serious re-think of your philosophy.

You can see in my language I made no reference to myself, nor do my assertions about absolute truth depend in the least on anything about me.

Again, you miss the point. Debates can only be conducted when both sides agree to the same ground rules. Not only do leftists break the rules, they refuse to acknowledge the ground beneath their feet. The fact that leftist ideology denies the existence of absolute truth is not a fact because I say it is. Its truth is separate and independent from me.

I never said anything about Mars. I would advise you to think again, and read again if necessary, what I’ve explained.

For the LAST time.

Your argument:

I don’t trust Obama, so therefore the COLB is false. Because whenever you don’t trust somebody, all their documents are obviously false and forgeries.

My argument:

I don’t trust Obama, but the COLB looks real. And there were the birth announcements.

YOU engage in circular reasoning. I don’t trust Obama so his COLB is false. His COLB is false so I don’t trust him. Since I don’t trust him...

So drop it. If you want to “dis-believe” go for it. Spend your spare time analyzing every noun and verb in HDOH press releases. Scour the world for any old book you can find from 1789 backwards that says what you want it to say. Ignore all the ones that don’t. Go tell an American court that WONG is wrong, and they were just flat wrong for using English common law to determine intent. Tell other birthers the same thing, too, if you want.

And tell the American court what those other birthers told the Indiana Court. Remember from last week?:

http://www.in.gov/judiciary/opinions/pdf/11120903.ebb.pdf

The Birther’s Argument (based on Vattel and the usual speeches from whoever they find):

Contrary to the thinking of most people on the subject, there’s a very clear distinction between a ‘citizen of the United States’ and a ‘natural born citizen.’(page 12)

The Court’s Smackdown of the Birthers’ :

Based upon the language of Art. II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are “Natural Born Citizens” for Art. II, section 1. purposes, regardless of the citizenship of the parents.” (Page 17)

If you want to ignore that, than by all means be my guest. It is, after all, one whole sentence. But someday when you are sitting there with egg on your face, remember Old Parsy, and how you had a choice..

parsy, the noble and long suffering

Go to Bigjournalism.com and scroll the articles until you see the title that starts with “The next big thing”—it is Bretibart taking on a troll, and includes a link to Media Matters jobs site.

“The fact that leftist ideology denies the existence of absolute truth is not a fact because I say it is. Its truth is separate and independent from me.”

This is where you get it wrong. There are some leftists who absolutely believe communism is better than capitalism, and think absolutely that guard towers beat open borders.

There are rightists who deny absolute truth.

I am not aware that autopsies of brains of leftists and rightists are significantly different. Sometimes people just believe different things and you are better off to try to understand them as people just like you. That way, you can change their thinking.

Well, since this thread has gone a little starkers...

A birth certificate includes time of birth, medical personnel name, hospital...

The most fascinating of all the details of this erstwhile "conspiracy" is that Stanley Ann Durham is on record as starting college classes three weeks after Obama's birthday--in Seattle. A three-week old infant from Hawaii to Seattle in 1961. She was still a teenager. A teenage girl gave birth in Hawaii and got to Seattle three weeks later, in 1961. This one fact is more interesting than any of the others.

But, wow, this thread is amazing.

Have you been watching any of the videos at Breitbart where he was at CPAC? The Max Blumenthal-O'Keefe fracas?

Are you aware of who funds Media Matters?

Did you follow the Annabel Park story, who turned out to be a total astroturf?

Connect the dots. If trolls show up under their own names to behave the way the troll did on Breitbart's site, what do you think they do anonymously?

But, certainly Media Matters would not characterize what they are doing in the way that I did.

So this thread is not about an article from Breitbart. The article from Breitbart is just anecdotal support for a vanity. Got it. That's cool, I just don't remember it being the normal etiquette around here. Usually when someone posts a thread in News/Current Events and what they post doesn't match the article they linked it get yanked. No problem, I just wanted confirmation from you that this is in fact a vanity and not a news article.

Thank you.

Possibly something there. But I have had three kids. Wives were up and about well within 3 weeks. Now, sleep-—that’s another matter. Who took care of the baby, granny or mommy? A newborn and a college schedule would be a little rough....

Oh yes, the birther threads get intense.

parsy, who is used to it...

Intellectual and moral relativism—which is defined as a rejection of absolute truth and morality—is central to and inextricable from leftist thinking.

Of course leftists proceed as though they have access to truth, just as the python spends most of his existence pretending to be a tree branch.

But leftists also reject, as a fundamental part of their ideology, the notion of accountability (this is really part of moral relativism). So they have no problem denying truth from one side of their mouth while laying claim to it from the other. (You should know about this—you do it all the time in your altruistically motivated posts against the eligibility argument.)

But my point is that the serpent will never be a tree. He neither takes root nor gathers sunlight in high branches. He will never know the permanence and security of solid ground nor will he ever enjoy the ultimate warmth and light shining down upon his boughs.

Moral relativism ensnares the whose human race. Do not forget, the sun is made to shine upon the good and bad the same. Sometime people move between the two.
