"no negotiations unless the islands 3,000 inhabitants asked for them."
Clinton never liked democracy.

The administration continues to screw our friends and to be tone deaf on the subtleties of international relations.
mrs. clinton is the least meaningful SOS in modern history — they should just remove the pretense and send ayers and soros.
Like the billboards with W on them say to our allies: “Miss me?”

The photo makes me vomit.
“Talks”? Talks about what?
Handing them over? A piece of the oil action?
I gather the Argies are not in a position militarily to force anything, other than not allow any supply ship to operate out of Argentine waters.

The Brits are our greatest allies in ANPAK. They won’t tolerate much more of this crap.

The Brits need to tell Hillary to take a hike and mind her own business. What an ass.

The Brits should just pull their troops out of Afghanistan right now. They should also bring their Ambassador to DC home for “consultations”.
This could be construed as a very HOSTILE act. They should act as if Obama had declared war. Maybe such a reaction would actually make an impression.
What is their to negotiate??? Nothing.

There was no mention of Falklands natural resources in the London Times piece. That’s interesting.

I guess they didn’t do it right the first time. This time they better sink every argentine boat and shoot down every argentine airplane. Then firebomb every port and every airport. This is just plain stupid to let them get away with anything.

This is a favor to Jimmy Carter--they're trying to remove from his administration the taint of having the worst foreign policy of any modern American President.
There may be a bit of a precedent in the way Grover Cleveland intervened in the dispute between Venezuela and Great Britain (over the border between Venezuela and British Guiana) but that wasn't really very similar.
Maybe the rationale is the same as for Bill Clinton's pardoning of the Puerto Rican terrorists--to win Hispanic votes in the next election.

Let’s see... They were going to “repair” relations with our allies that Bush had destroyed.
This will definitely do the trick with Britain.
