Then why didn’t the massive snowfall hit during January which was considerably warmer? Riddle me this, ManBearPig!

The heat makes snow. Who knew? All this time I was putting water in the freezer to make ice when I should have been using a blowtorch...

Does the Divinity School flunk out know it’s warmer during the day, cooler at night and warm in the Summer and cooler in the Winter? It’s amazing, but it’s been happening all 64 of my years.

Call Big Al a lunatic. But remember, he has pocketed a fortune from other lunatics who have signed on to his goofy thoughts!

First, we had reduced snowfall and winter drought, for the better part of four years on the east coast and it was blamed on global warming. Now, it’s record snowfall and no drought in sight, yet it’s still global warming. If you can argue both extremes support your position, it’s tough to lose any debate.

Al Gore and his cronies need to be prosecuted under RICO statutes.

That’s real nice for the “global warming” to keep itself over the oceans where we can’t notice it until it dumps as snow on us.

By Gore’s rationale, this summer ought to bring us the whitest July in decades!

A few years ago the mild winters were supposed “evidence” of globull warming and now the severe winters are ALSO “evidence” of globull warming.

Gore’s absolutely correct on this one. I tried it myself. I put an eight ounce cup filled to the top with ice in my microwave for three minutes. By the time it was finished, six feet of snow had fallen in my kitchen.

I am pleased by this piece. First, it starts off with an important point, which the Left has heretofore refused to concede — that the falling apart of the scientific evidence behind global warming would be hugely positive news. I don’t know why he granted this point, and why he chose this highly visible venue to do so, but it is important and a huge concession.

Second, he really doesn’t introduce any new evidence or even rebut the evidence that is coming in against global warming. He’s simply asserting that none of this changes the consenus ...

Public opinion is sufficiently negative re: global warming that there is simply no prospect of damaging legislation or regulations coming any time in the next few years. By the time that this leftist crowd could even hope to move public opinion back in their direction, more flaws and problems with their theories will surely emerge.

I’m not suggesting that the danger has passed; just that the momentum is decidedly against them.

It may explain the precipitation, but does it explain the cold?

Where I am we would have normally just had a bunch of Winter rain. Instead we got a lot of snow.
