Lytle is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of town, one of hundreds that dot the vast flat ranchlands of southern Texas. A smear of houses by the main highway between San Antonio and Laredo. Population: 2,383. The first streets only got paved here in the years after the second world war. A sewage system took a little longer, not being built until the 1960s. In short, Lytle, Texas, has never been big enough to have much impact on the politics of the Lone Star state. And few Texas politicians have ever paid much attention to it.

Please provide a source for your preposterous statement. If you cannot, please stop repeating it. You are harming a solid candidate with your lies. Medina does not believe that our government was involved in 9/11. Any claim to the contrary is patently false.
Thank you :)
The source is the actual freaking verbatim interview with Beck!
If you cannot find it then you are truly hopeless.
You must be new.
Debra Medina was interviewed by Glenn Beck and outed herself as a truther.
If you really haven't heard of this I have linked the interview for you.
Oh wait, I recognize you. You are one of those Paulbots!
Again.....this idiot woman thnks there is a possibility that our government was responsible for 9-11. She said herself that, “all the facts aren’t in”. That says she’s open to the possibility. Are you, ‘cuz I’m sure not!
If you cannot find it then you are truly hopeless.
I just told you I have heard and read the transcript of the Beck interview -
"In everything I have read and heard, including the Glen Beck interview, she said she did NOT believe the government was involved. "
Why so angry? Stop being a jerk. It makes you seem insecure.
I am sick of the lies. Medina is a truther and weeks of people saying she isn't won't change the fact.
It doesn’t matter whether I look up her record or not (I have read her resume posted here) because I don’t vote in Texas.
She could have simply said "no".
Did she?
NO!
I dont live in Texas but from what Ive heard, Texas is doing much better than the rest of the country. Why on earth would people want to dump their governer who has done such a good job?

Very good question, beckysueb.
And .. you don’t believe they would support her .. why not; she believes in Amnesty for illegals .. and that’s what they believe in too.
And .. just because it was photo-shopped doesn’t PROVE that LaRaza doesn’t support her.\
So you can LOL all you want .. but you haven’t proved anything.
CyberAnt, It would make sense that the burden of proof would be on you to prove a connection between La Raza and Medina... it’s absurd to ask someone to prove NO connection (since there would not be anything to post)... until then it makes sense to LOL at a photoshopped attempt to connect the two.
Eaker, the lies are yours. You have turned a statement of “I don’t have a position” into a position that fits your agenda.
Also, look at her website: “I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.”
This is not a truther’s position. You can read can’t you?
Ridiculous distortion of events by lots of Freepers here... If you don’t want to vote for Medina, don’t... it’s a supportable position... but stop making up lies and marginalizing others opinions... it only makes you look ignorant and frankly like a DUer -— debating without any logic, just feelings (and lies).
And so far neither have you proved a thing except except that you don’t need documentation........... A fake logo and no other documentation means nothing. However by Tuesday evening Medina will be out of the picture hopefully not to be heard from again.
Thanks for being rude and insulting! I expected no less.
And yes, I can ask for proof that a connection does not exist.
Anyway .. the answer to the question was “NO” .. that’s not what she said.
I’m done .. Good bye!!!
Amen! Eaker seems to be on some kind of crusade to turn a bland statement into a declaration of traitorous insanity. What's up with that, Eaker?
I didn’t mean to come across as rude... but I just get sick of hearing you and others make up stuff and then stand behind it like you have some kind of proof for allegations
I can completely understand if someone didn’t like the answer and forms their own opinion that she is a truther. Fine, that’s called an opinion, not a fact. The latest poll I saw indicates that 50% don’t think she’s a truther and 21% do, so its hardly a undisputed public opinion either. It is what it is and anyone that debates otherwise is lying. I just happen to have a different opinion and get tired of being demonized for it.
I can understand problems with Medina’s level of experience in govt. That is a problem to me too.
I can’t understand how anyone could take the position that she is connected to La Raza without some level of proof. A photoshopped image is not that proof.
Honestly, I’ll be fine with Perry for another 4 years... (I hope he stands up for Texas and nullifies) it’s just the absolute dishonesty regarding this topic that is bothersome as a fellow Freeper.
If one has “no position” on pedophilia then in my, and most people’s mind that is a position of support.
Would you hire a nanny who had “no position” on child rape? Let me rephrase that; I would not hire a nanny who could not say they were against it.
This is no different and too important an issue to pick a wishy washy “politician” who after this many years cannot make up their mind on their own and need their staffers to tell them their opinion.
As to her website I guess you truthers go to Obamas for his latest version of the truth too. Not me, I am not that stupid.
Good answer.
Thank God a Youtube video is not required to convict murderers in court!
People go to prison every day based on the opinion of twelve.
