(CNN) -- The University of California San Diego has suspended a student who admitted to hanging a noose in a campus library, school officials announced Friday.
"We are feeling real pain, and we will take real action," said UCSD chancellor Marye Anne Fox told reporters. "The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is my primary concern."

Liberals have no sense of humor UNLESS it is directed to a CONSERVATIVE. When it is directed to a conservative, then it’s funny.

My frame of reference is the American West; so to me it has been puzzling to see how this is an insult. Unless one was being called a horse thief.
But I can see how it could have a different meaning for different people.
Up until the Civil Rights movement, black men accused of crimes (especially rape of white women) were frequently lynched by hanging.

I’m fully aware of black lynchings. What is absurd is this idea that nooses have only been slipped around black necks throughout history, and that blacks now “own” the noose as a form of racial grievance. Interestingly enough, in California a majority of lynchings were of other races, not blacks.

All this outrage is manufactured to serve leftist purposes. The cameras roll as they trot out “devastated” minorities over rumors. If they weren’t there, how do they become traumatized? Somebody told them to be.
Seventy years or so is way too long for blacks to be playing the “victim” game. Grow up. The only ones enslaving them are the liberals and themselves.

A noose was a sign of frontier justice as well as being used on slaves. What made you jump to the conclusion that the noose was a threat against blacks? Why wasn't it a threat against car thieves (modern equal to horse thieves)?
Seems to me you have a bit of a race problem immediatly jumping to the wrong conclusions. Why is that?

Your post is KOS-worthy because they don’t like facts that interfere with their narrow-minded worldview either.
The FACT is that a noose to a black person is a threat. It says “leave or we will kill you.” If you don’t like that or disagree with them having that reaction is irrelevant. That is the case and anyone who doesn’t know that is just so history-impaired that it is pointless having a discussion
