Israel receives military and financial assistance, and also some diplomatic support at the United Nations, but the US puts pressure on Israel to surrender parts of the homeland... It seems to me a Ron Paul presidency would be good for Israel and for the United States. Its foreign policy non-interventionism and its concern to protect national sovereignty would provide Israel with a greater impetus to increase its own independence and sense of national honor. I hope American Zionists will resist the immediate, meretricious attractions of American financial assistance for Israel. Ron Paul would both end this infantilizing, and even corrupting, aid and respect Israel's national sovereignty. Taking the long and deep view, Ron Paul should be the Zionist choice."

I was on that thread. The guy never came back to play.
It’s the right end...
LOL...
“and the Paul-Haters are receding”
Nope, I’m still here. F RuPaul.
Were your hips when you were snarking at us for dealing with a retread PaulTroll?
You did not prove anything.
I clicked the link and I had seen it before in the original thread last week.
Seems pretty clear cut to me. The Pauls and their acolytes are not on our side.
should have been
"Were your hands on your hips when you were snarking at us for dealing with a retread PaulTroll?"
Watching Olympics and posting at the same time. Maybe that's like trying to walk and chew gum at the same time?
Hilarious! LOL.
Heh, I've made a few typos myself tonight. I'm dare to be fan of Ron Paul and a supporter of Rand Paul. I'm open critisism of my position and the Pauls have, what I believe, are some glaring weaknesses in making arguments. However, the name calling, calumny, cheap shots, and even libel that I've seen dished out will only affirm my resolve. I'd love to see more serious arguments on this subject. Listen to what they say and ignore what irritates you for a little while.
One guy that I have the deepest respect for: Al Mohler, President of Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY tacitly refered to Rand Paul as the "Libertarian" candidate for senate (02/23/10 Liberalism and Society) and said that he would be discussing the differences between libertarians and conservatives on his radio show in the near future. You can bet that I'll be listening.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
I don't know if JBS deserves as negative a reputation as it has been branded with. FR gets slammed as extremist and radical by lot of people who could care less about actually checking it out.
I don't think Eisenhower was a communist and I don't think that there are communists hiding behind every tree, but the humanistic, narcissistic, self-deifying sin behind communism is rampant in our society, culture, politics and can even be found hiding out in the corners of our own minds. It is pride and arrogance that wants to play God and "fix" the economy, health care, the environment, world security and every perceived inequity, prejudice, intolerance and injustice.
I had a shirt tail relative who lived in Costa Rica years ago who was a Bircher. He was old when I was young, and had worked on the construction of the Panama canal, fell in love with South America, and stayed there.
He sent me a subscription to the Bircher’s newsletter, which I read with interest. It was considered lunatic fringe back then, but in retrospect, it had the same future vision of the reality of the Communist Conspiracy that got Joe McCarthy roundly condemned.
I have had no contact with any Birchers since then, but I would at least listen to them, and probably with more credence than I would give this latest crop of Paultards, no matter how “Christian” or “Conservative” they claim to be.
Your link shows Paul endorsing the Society. As far as I can tell, it does not show him as endorsed by them.
I could, of corse, be misreading. Correct me if I’m wrong.
The JBS and Ron Paul have the same basic views, policy, etc.
He's been their keynote speaker. His views mirror theirs.
Here’s a missing “u”. Please forgive the omission.
Okay! Okay.
Whew!
Ron Paul and Alex Jones on the same page. That *is* a bit much.
There are videos of Paul on Alex Jones program and Alex Jones is a big supporter of Ron Paul
Yeah, some stuff is just too bizarre, if bizarre is the right word.
I spent a lot of time on the JBS site the other night. They allow visitors to read their forums. Not much action, but the postings were interesting as were the article selections. Thomas Sowell column and one other from a decent guy.
