(CNN) -- The widow of an Internal Revenue Service employee killed when a disgruntled taxpayer flew his plane into a seven-story building in Austin, Texas, last week is suing the pilot's wife, according to court documents.
Valerie Hunter, the wife of Vernon Hunter, is accusing Sheryl Stack, wife of Andrew Joseph "Joe" Stack III, of negligence, alleging she she knew or should have known that her husband was a threat to others and, thus, could have prevented the attack, according to the lawsuit filed Monday in Travis County District Court.

It's kinda already in the public domain.
I don't understand that angle of the suit. The kids need only read this thread.
It's done. What is the point of suing Mrs Stack?
Didn’t take long at all. Families facing such a sudden loss are angry, and you can be the lawyers who filed this suit for the widow were sitting at the mortuary waiting for her. Usually it’s best to let time begin its healing.
YES
She is the executor of the estate. Legally, she has to be named on the suit.
Mrs. Stack is the executor of the estate. Legally, she has to be named.
I understand. Once one digs his own hole, it is hard to fill it back up.
Why not? You've been posting your lies, speculations, distortions, and projections on this thread since you started. Can't handle the heat-then leave!
Reading this thread would be harder on the kids than the autopsy.
Please cite any lie by me on this thread.
Please cite any distortion by me on this thread.
My speculations are usually identified as such as pale in comparison to the speculations of you and our friends that are stated as facts.
Why not?
Because it is speculation, not fact, duh. And we know what you are doing. It is from Alinski's rules on how to win arguments.
This is what the original post stated:

I commented on this post and the subsequent defense of the widow Hunter to go after the widow Stack.
If the widow Hunter is not holding the widow Stack responsible for the actions of Mr. Stack, then either the original post is incorrect or there are details that have not been subsequently made public or clear that would lead one to conclude there will be civil action taken against widow Stack for her deceased husband's actions.
We are, after all, human.
They may have sued the estate, also. But, you can't find someone responsible of negligence without naming them in the suit as well. I haven't seen a copy of the suit, but it's highly unusual that a perpetrator's family member (in this case spouse) be sued, especially when they aren't named by LE as an accomplice to the crime.
Like I said, the perpetrator's estate is going to bear no fruit. The only chance the victim's attorney's have at a jury award is to sue the family. It's despicable, and it's not reflective of a well-functioning tort system.
Why? It’s insane.
It serves no purpose. The pain has been felt.
Are they skeered the Stack family will say neeny neeny na noo to their pain in public?
WTF is the point?
I just don’t get it.
Lawyers love to escalate emotion even when it is not necessary. These family’s need healing. Not Lawyers and public spectacle.
Why would you elevate the public spectacle on the basis that you are trying to spare the children the spectacle?
The wife of the nutjob is just as big a victim as the widow of the innocent bystander, who should she sue? She has no recourse except to collect what insurance she can, if indeed she has insurance. She no longer even has a house to live it if the reports are correct.
IMO, this law suit is not justified and is a despicable act.
That is my point. It’s already out there. What is the point of the lawsuit then?
Ok. Perhaps an apology to FReepers for believing CNN without checking the facts.
You wrote:
“Her husband was killed by this maniac. Have you no mercy?”
How is it merciful to sue a widow over something her husband did unbeknownst to her? That sounds like a terrible injustice to me. If your spouse murders mine, do I get to sue you even though you knew nothing about it?
She's not being sued as the executor of the estate, she's being sued for negligence, or so the media reports claim. You're making it up, now.
So whats the FP? of the lawsuit?
