(CNN) -- The widow of an Internal Revenue Service employee killed when a disgruntled taxpayer flew his plane into a seven-story building in Austin, Texas, last week is suing the pilot's wife, according to court documents.

Valerie Hunter, the wife of Vernon Hunter, is accusing Sheryl Stack, wife of Andrew Joseph "Joe" Stack III, of negligence, alleging she she knew or should have known that her husband was a threat to others and, thus, could have prevented the attack, according to the lawsuit filed Monday in Travis County District Court.

OJ himself was the one that the civil suit was brought against. Not close to being an accurate comparison.

Yes. But take away his assest and you take hurt his poor daughter. Don't you have any mercy for his daughter? She is innocent and should not have to bear the embarrassment of the civil trial and be hounded for years over the murder and lose her chance of a better life.

His daughter, her daughter...she should shut her trap. And don’t ever use my own words against me again. My husband does that and I don’t like it.

What if she writes a book and lo and behold it sells. Should she profit?

That's her right. More power to her.

WRONG!!!! Two widows, both victims. One whose greed outweighs her grief.

WRONG!!!! Two widows, one whose spouse was murdered, one whose spouse was the murderer.

Reason #73443948394843562343 why we need tort reform NOW.

Um no. You missed three. I won't say specifically which three, but it's reason # 73443948394843562346

Once again, what crime did the wife of the murderer commit?

How about we just get it over with and stick the needle in her? You know, since her husband is too cold to stand in the criminal trial.

But she wasn’t the murderer. I don’t know why she should be punished. But, whatever, I don’t see this from the eyes of a greedy bloodsucking lawyer.

get a grip.

1. The grieved widow's husband worked for the IRS (EVIL)

True. IRS evil? In some ways, it is not a nice gang of folks...unless you disagree.

2. The murderer hates the IRS (GOOD)

Yeah, the murderer did. It's not good to "hate", you know. Oppose, yes.

3. The grieve widow has a lawyer (EVIL)

Well, the "lawyer" is looking for a buck and notoriety. Good for his/her business, eh.

4. The murderer took out an IRS office (Applause!).

Applause? For wanton murder? Note that I did not, nor do I, applaud the murder and actions of Mr. Stack.

Suicide is a coward’s way out. It means you are running from your problems instead of dealing with them. He left his loved ones in misery, to suffer, to explain on his behalf....it is cowardly. How could you not see it? LIVING is what is hard. BEING RESPONSIBLE for one’s own actions is what is difficult. Especially when you have made mistakes. That is what I mean by cowardly.

Your ignorance of the law is showing.

IANAL, and proud of it.

As far as we know so far, both widows are victims. And it's quite unseemly for one to be suing the other.

Of course, if the wife knew of Stack's plan, that would also be a criminal matter.

Only a fool would think insurance would pay off on deliberate destruction.

Are you stating a fact that insurance would not pay off in this case? Yes or No.

The whole argument here seems to be about “possible” profits.

What would stop the IRS widow from writing a counterpoint book for profit?

I don’t understand the rush to lawyers.
Seems to me that both family’s were victimized and that if they chose to tell their story’s their could be profit in it for both.

Running to lawyers to ensure that stacks penniless family will never see a crust while profiting lawyers seems crazy to me.

If I had just lost a loved one it would be the last thing on my mind.

And yes, I have lost loved ones where lawsuits could have been brought forth.
I all seems cold and callous in the wake of tragedy.
