I think I like 2/3 better, myself. It forces both parties closer to reality, and can put the brakes on populist demagogue sourced, buy-me-some-votes-with-taxpayer-money legislation originating in the lower chamber (House of Representatives). Hopefully.

Requiring 2/3 vote to pass the Senate --- it better be good --- or we can do without it --- or sorry charlie, clean it up and try again, etc.

The folks in the Senate who talk the most about wanting "bi-partisanship" should be made to put their real votes where their mouth is, and push for the 2/3 rule to be brought back.
