The Gay Infiltration of the Conservative Movement
Accuracy in Media ^ | February 22, 2010 | Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 02/23/2010 6:18:36 AM PST by AIM Freeper

California Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chairman Ryan Sorba generated a media controversy when he was shown at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) denouncing the organizers for inviting a homosexual Republican group, GOProud, into the event as an official sponsor. In "controversial" remarks, Sorba said homosexuality was unnatural and that he welcomed more debate and discussion about the subject from his political adversaries.

But what many people don't realize is that Sorba's "outburst" was provoked by a speaker who preceded him, Alexander McCobin of Students For Liberty (SFL). McCobin went out of his way to use valuable time from the podium to thank the American Conservative Union, the main CPAC organizer, for making the controversial decision to approve GOProud's participation.

David Keene, a lobbyist, is the chairman of the ACU and personally approved GOProud's involvement in CPAC.

Sorba told AIM, "I think CPAC went overboard this year. I don't think he [Keene] should be sitting at the top of CPAC." He noted that CPAC over the last several years has also allowed groups such as the ACLU to have exhibits at the event.

"What's next?," Sorba asked. "Are they going to have Republicans for Obamacare? Republicans for free abortions?"

WOW! We have another infiltrator. The Libertarians!

http://www.lp.org/platform

Pro-civil unions, Pro-abortion, Pro illegal aliens!

I know for a FACT they were invited in OFFICIALLY by the Republican Party in Illinois. At the Republican Convention we were told by the leadership that they discovered that Libertarians ARE REALLY REPUBLICAN! so we should welcome them with open arms!!

They are desparate to swell the ranks of RINO’S!!

Just from the article headline and the excerpt, I’m struggling to find a problem here. I’m ALL FOR homosexual conservatives. I have a cousin who is an ardent conservative, and he’s lived with his partner for years. He’s a gun owner, attends Tea Party rallies, and he’s a proud member of the NRA and GOA. Homosexuals are not a problem, it’s when the “Christian right” starts defaming them simply for their sexual choices that I have to step back.

Any and all conservative movements will be under siege. The lefties know it is easy enough to do...pretend to be a conservative and work your evil from the inside out...just as Obama how it's done!

This incident has been relentlessly misreported and misconstrued by the Left.

Wrong. The problem is the homosexual agenda.

David Keene, Grover Norquist, Newt Gingrich and the like have made themselves guardians of their view of the conservative movement for Far too long. Tea Partiers, 9-12ers and our like need to have our own American convention.

If our country ends up embracing sexual depravity as the moral equivalent of heterosexuality, it’s really game over. A society that becomes so permissive that it draws no moral distinctions ultimately stands for nothing.

Exhibit A: Europe today.

That’s why it’ll be a cakewalk for people of strong faith — the Muslims — to completely take over. It’s a moral vaccuum.

Trust me, I’m not permissive of his sexual practices, but he’s also an incredibly private person. If you didn’t see him with his partner, you wouldn’t know he was gay. He doesn’t push an agenda. He’s on our side. You would want him in your foxhole with you. He would jump on a grenade to save your life.

Exceptional religious intolerance is exactly that: intolerance. As a Conservative, I would rather have a homosexual conservative fighting for me than a religious nut.

Fact: The fat Ed Morrisey (Hotair.com) who recieved ‘Conservative blogger of the year’ and was a speaker at CPAC is on record as saying that Republicans need to get over their problems with homosexuality.

Homosexuality is not a conservative value, simple as that. You might want the libertarian party ... it’s just a couple of blocks down from us, easy mistake to make. Do you think it’s natural for one man to insert his sexual organs where another man’s excrement comes out?

And that is the problem. You compromise on policies, not principals.

“Just from the article headline and the excerpt, I’m struggling to find a problem here. “

I’m just a little confused here. In the “old days” homosexuals were significantly less than 10% of the population. Today, we hear about gays all the time in different contexts. One of two things is happening: either gays are getting a disproportionate voice, or their numbers in terms of percentage of the general population are growing. (Maybe both).

I don’t hate gays, but I don’t see it as an optimum lifestyle. I would not wish for anyone in my family to be gay. I would accept them, but not like their lifestyle.

So, do you think gays are growing in numbers? If so, I find that distrubing.

Or, do you think it’s just that we give them more of a voice than in the past. Too much of a voice would be my opinion, but just an opinion.

I’m sure he’s a great guy; he will tell you that he didn’t/wouldn’t have chosen to be gay.

But, you’re buying into a false meme promoted by the MSM: that because the “Christian right” opposes the gay agenda, they are “hateful.”

Wrong. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

The gay lifestyle is incredibly destructive to those who live it. Much like alcoholism.
