“Just from the article headline and the excerpt, I’m struggling to find a problem here. “

I’m just a little confused here. In the “old days” homosexuals were significantly less than 10% of the population. Today, we hear about gays all the time in different contexts. One of two things is happening: either gays are getting a disproportionate voice, or their numbers in terms of percentage of the general population are growing. (Maybe both).

I don’t hate gays, but I don’t see it as an optimum lifestyle. I would not wish for anyone in my family to be gay. I would accept them, but not like their lifestyle.

So, do you think gays are growing in numbers? If so, I find that distrubing.

Or, do you think it’s just that we give them more of a voice than in the past. Too much of a voice would be my opinion, but just an opinion.

I think homosexuals have been around for time immemorial. Only since the 60s has it been “cool” to be gay. Once society accepted it, it became mainstream and more came out as being gay.

I don’t support the homosexual agenda in any way. I think it’s disgusting to teach kids how to have sex in any way; that’s for the parents to impart. What a man or a woman does behind closed doors is their business. I’m not for religiously intolerant ideas such as banning sex toys or breaching the bedroom to make sure there isn’t some Biblical code being broken by two consenting adults.

There aren’t more gays now, they’re just more vocal and visible.

If you watch any tv - mostly reality tv - (I know, most of us try not to) - they are becoming more and more open about being able to go either or, that is straight or homosexual - it’s an “experiment” and once they’ve done it, they can’t be ashamed of it, therefore they promote it.
