It won’t be prosecuted because there is no legal authority that is not complicit in this case.

One, this is the Chicago way!
Two, Obama will sacrifice an underling if necessary and deny any knowledge of it.

Being the polite fellow Obama will say, "Pardon Me!"
Either that or cement overshoes in the Potomac!

I wonder if Rod Blagojevich (IL, ex-Gov) is writing this stuff down. It might just come in handy as it “appears” to establish a pattern of criminal wrongdoing.

You see it’s only illegal if he solicits a job in favor of quitting his bid to become senator. The rules are often written to protect those in power. It may be illegal if he had accepted the job and then the person in power may be found guilty.
It’s splitting hairs, but those in power create the laws to keep them in power.

Finally, someone with the courage to say publicly that the activities of the Obama administration are criminal. Add to this the ACORN activities and the union bribes which are also illegal. Unfortunately the Justice Department under that lying slimeball Holder is so corrupt that nothing will happen.

It could be prosecuted on a conspiracy charge couldn’t it?

The trial lawyers OWN Zero. They will protect him if his own Justice Dept decides to prosecute. He** (DC) froze over for a week this month so maybe this will happen? NOT!!

I wonder if this violates Pa election laws also? Of course, easy Ed is not going to go against the tide either albeit it is a Red Tide that kills all breathing things.

Rahm Emanuel’s resignation is being demanded for a different crime: corruption, destroying oversight, and thwarting a federal investigation on the thread cited below:

" A bombshell has just exploded in the 2010 elections.
For the second time in five months, the Obama White House is being accused -- by Democrats -- of offering high ranking government jobs in return for political favors. What no one is reporting is that this is a violation of federal law that can lead to prison time, a fine or both, according to Title 18, Chapter 11, Section 211 of the United States Code. "...
