Apparently it’s illegal in some states, but I suspect it can still be done in Saudi Arabia, which is pretty backwards about these matters.

You are projecting onto the Saudis the Western notion of the grouchy mother-in-law.

Something tells me that if the gals are submissive enough to want to be wife number four to a hairy, foul-breathed, disgusting 55-year old Saudi man, then the gal's mother will not be the type to cause any trouble. Perhaps Saudi law allows for honor killings of b-tchy mothers-in-law.

Again, something tells me that in Muslim countries, the mothers-in-law problem is a nonproblem.
