Obama announced that he is in the process of writing the legislation that the Dems in the Senate can pass via the reconciliation process by a simple majority of 51 votes. The announcement came in a speech at a Dem fundraiser in Denver for Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO).

He isnt writing one damn word of it, though I'm sure hes on the sidelines saying to those who are writing it, things like: "make sure people are taxed heavilly in this one", "be sure that an amendment forcing people to buy health insurance is in there too"
