Pictures behind Obama's Desk
vanity
Posted on 02/18/2010 12:09:46 PM PST by airedale
I saw a picture of the photos behind President Obama's desk in the Oval Office. I saw pictures of his kids and wife but I didn't see pictures of his mother, or grandmother and grandfather. The pictures were small so it was hard to tell what was in the older pictures framed on the library table. Are there pictures of his mother, grandmother and grandfather on his mothers side?

Is that a Remington on the right chest? Wasn’t that Reagan’s favorite, too?

I recognize what looks like a Childe Hassam painting on the left. Does anyone recognize the painting on the right, over the sculpture?

I thought it was a photo, not a painting.

Frankly, I can't recall ever seeing anyone with pictures of their grandmother and / or grandfather in their office.

I’m surprised there isn’t a mirror on his desk.

It’s the family photo’s behind the desk that I’m interested in.

Obama is the type of person who would just leave the sample picture in the frame and pretend he knows them.

I have pictures of my husband and children on my desk, but no pictures of my deceased parents or grandparents. I am not sure it is relevant to anything.
