When the tea partiers take a close look at Mr. Hayworths record and see all of his earmarks and all of his ties to Jack Abramoff, theyll find a record that demands scrutiny, McCain says. We have the letters and legislative records to prove it. And we will. At the same time, Im proud of my record as a conservative and for taking on my party on spending and earmarks. When tea partiers examine my fiscal record, theyll find a friend. We may have disagreement on some issues, but Im confident that we will get significant support. McCain adds that the tea-party movement is part of a groundswell of frustration with which he identifies. A majority of Americans are angry about their economic situation and the failure of Congress and the president to act on their behalf. I want to keep fighting for their interests, he says.
McCain also frowns on Hayworths getting mired in the debate over President Obamas birth certificate. With unemployment at 10 percent, our country engaged in two wars, and Arizona hurting more than ever, Mr. Hayworth obviously has his priorities upside down, McCain says.
(snip)
To counter Hayworths growing support, McCain has enlisted Sen. Scott Brown (R., Mass.) and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign, to stump for him in the Grand Canyon State. He would also like to bring in Mitt Romney, his former opponent for the GOP presidential nomination. Id really appreciate it if Mitt Romney came, McCain says. Wed really like to have him. We havent made any specific arrangement yet, but Id like to see that. He is a man I respect.

During the Clinton administration, strange things were left buried back then too. I’m not surprised myself. I just couldn’t believe the way McCainiac allowed all of that to slip past.
If I were McCain, I would stop critcizing the birthers, and, instead, I would start publlicly asking for someone, especially President Obama himself, to answer this question:
Who was Obama's birth doctor in Hawaii way back on Aug. 4, 1961, at a birth that supposedly occurred at Kapiolani hospital.
1. Right now, I would just be satisfied with Obama coming out and announcing to all the world the name of his 1961 birth doctor so that the good doctor and his family can rightfully enjoy all the public glory and public rewards that a doctor who delivered a president of the united States should receive.
2. But surprisingly, dear old Obama has been conspicuously silent when it comes to publicly giving us his 1961 birth doctor's name.
3. Why is dear old Obama denying his 1961 birth doctor and his family all the public praise and rewards that a doctor who delivered the sitting President of the United States should be entitled to?
4. For instance, the doctor and his family could appear all over the television on such shows as Larry King, Hannity, O'Reilly, and Beck.
5. The good doctor could write a best-selling book about his experiences as a doctor at Kapiolani Hospital, the hospital where Obama says that he was born.
6. The good doctor could have a TV-movie made of his life, and he and his family could become rich and famous from books and movies.
7. The good doctor's family could have members who are important or not so important people today, people who could use the financial rewards and publicity that would come to them when Obama publicly announced the name of his 1961 Hawaii birth doctor.
8. But poor Obama, he is so silent about the name of his birth doctor.
9. So, again, why is the President of the United States behaving in such a terrible way and setting such a poor example to the people of the United States?
10. Could this be the reason: There is NO doctor name or hospital name on Obama's 1961 long form birth certificate?
11. Yes, that is the reason, in my opinion.
Good idea on the ‘out’.
It was the insane goings on in the Clinton administration that first got my blood boiling about politics. As far as I am concerned no one, in the history of the nation, has committed such egregious acts of treason as Bubba and his concubine.
First of all, Brown isn’t all that conservative. Second, McCain was very helpful to Brown in his victory.
McQueeg is a lying, scum-sucking, self-serving weasel and no perfidy is beyond him. He will overlook anything or spin it away if it suits him. If the man ever had any honor he left it in Hanoi. He has displayed absolutely none since he came back. McNuts is a 100% plastic politician. Moldable into any image to fit the day.
With unemployment at 10 percent, our country engaged in two wars, and Arizona hurting more than ever, Mr. Hayworth obviously has his priorities upside down, McCain says.
Sure. McCain is all set to reach across the aisle and help Obama fix these problems, just as soon as he can stop pretending to be a conservative.
*******
I can only say: Poor McCain, even though I voted for him.
I think it is McCain's reasoning power and logic that seems to be upside down, and McCain doesn't seem to realize it.
Mr. McCain: Did it ever occur to you that if just one person in authority had forced Obama to publicly show his Hawaii long form birth certificate just once during the 2008 presidential campaign and Obama ended up disqualified, you might be the President of the United States today?
Poor McCain. He doesn't realize that only one Obama long form Hawaii birth certificate stood between him and the presidency.
Please, tell me what you really think.
As for what is wrong with him [not that it matters I suppose] ...
I don’t think he’s a money hound. I think he hero-worships bigtime college grads. That’s why his daughter is so messed up.

Glenn Beck mentioned how McCain’s favorite president was founder of the Progressive Party. [Teddy R.] Since his daughter is a ‘progressive republican’, it ties in quite neatly.
I think McCain is well off enough financially. If he were worried about earning cash as a lobbyist, he would retire right now. So he’s not running for money.

I think it’s great that people are supporting JD. I’m just saying that judging people based on endorsements, or labelling endorsements as indicative of people’s character, doesn’t always yield useful results.
Often, endorsements are given that don’t “make sense” philosophically. For example, conservatives don’t have much better friends in the Senate than DeMint and Tom Coburn, but in 2008 Coburn endorsed McCain in the primary, and DeMint endorsed Mitt Romney.
I think it is dangerous to attack people we otherwise agree with too much for making what we think are “wrong” endorsements (remember the uprising when Tom Tancredo endorsed Mitt Romney here?)
Now we are seeing it with Sarah and Fred, moreso with Fred I think because people really like Sarah and want to find excuses not to blame her, while I think nobody is looking for Fred to run anymore so he’s expendable.
Jobs Americans won’t do? Won’t pick lettuce for 50$ an hour?
Time to bag it John.
Interesting. TY for the info. Michelle ‘My Belle’ was disbarred?
I’m glad someone else remembers. People are quick to say, “Worse than the Clintons.” But heck, the Clintonista are running this administration too.
True enough. 0baMao and his buddies are potentially worse than Bubba was. There was a mountain of crimes and bodies yet to be surpassed.
Looks like we have a ‘ Hoffman and Dede ‘ rerun here. Hoffman vs. Dede Part II.
She doesn’t have a license. Inactive. There was a thread about it awhile back. I would imagine, the real truth is no longer out there - lost somewhere with all of BHO’s background documents.
