Flying into controlled airspace, not required either, just be under ATC control. . .i.e., establish radio comms and follow directions. . .ATC doesn’t REALLY control the aircraft.

They found the bomb? Good.

Former Austin resident for 31 years (still maintain an apartment there, about two miles down the highway from the Echelon complex).
Had less than delightful interactions with certain Govt functionaries in that very spot, years ago.
Eventually found work in another state.

Now, Round Rock used to have an airstrip. It was originally called "Tim's Airpark" and later "Executive." Michael Dell bought it and turned it into his main business campus, forcing private owners to move their planes to various other strips, such as Georgetown, or Austin Bergstrom (with its utterly usurious tiedown and hangar fees).
I recently heard that they got that area code because of the rocket launches from Cape Canaveral.

Has anyone heard of the story just now on Fox News about soldiers at Ft. Jackson South Carolina attempting to poison the food on the base? No details other than that it’s the result of a two-month investigation. What are their names I wonder? The enemy is in our midst. Time for a reckoning.
