A national American-Italian group are considering legal action against MTV over their controversial hit Jersey Shore, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
UNICO (the National American-Italian Service Organization) president Andre Dimino has revealed that they have consulted attorneys because they are fed-up with MTVs portrayal of young Italian Americans as booze-fueled hellraisers.

In response to these wretched stereotypes, UNICO is demanding a lifetime supply of spray-on tan and hairspray as repayment for the insult.
I can’t wait to hear what law is being broken — should be a doozy. It should also be thrown out of court.
I dont get it. What law is being broken?
White guys are portrayed as idiots on TV all day long.
Fogetaboutit. Crazy stunads with guido gold and capicola sandwiches.
they need to shut up haven’t they heard it is alright to mock and make fun of white Christian straight males and females.
honestly they need to get wit the programme
ARF
I'm embarrassed for them.
They look way dumber than the dopes on the show.
When Ian Fleming wrote the original script for Thunderball, the plot was going to have an American air force officer steal a nuclear device for the mafia. His American friend told Ian that American audiences would recoil at a traitorous Airman and that italians would be offended at the mafia reference. Ian removed the reference to the airman but left the mafia in and said, if italians are offended over the mafia then maybe they should do something about it.
I just don’t understand how they got the lead singer of Depeche Mode to be in that show...lol
It seems well-intended, but as stupid as the show must be.
Don’t you think snookie is hot? ;)
As an American of Italian ancestry, I don’t think MTV is exploiting The Jersey Shore gang because they are Italian.
I think they are being exploited because they are gullible idiots. That quality knows no ethnic boundary! :-)
Many of the puns I would like to make would get me banned.
It does seem greatly ironic that MTV can publish Black violent rap movies with impunity, but if MTV wants to let young, well, Irish-Americans in on the “fun” then they end up rousing Irish tempers. You’d think the black community would tire of this schtick some day.
Does anyone else remember the “Santo Gold” infomercials?
“Initially, the villains were the Russians, but after the first draft the villains became the Mafia,[4] which had become topical following the Apalachin Meeting. Finally the villains became the terrorist organisation SPECTRE.”

I grew up in North Jersey and used to hitch hike down the shore in highschool, crashing on the Seaside Heights beach.
The guidos were everywhere. And they were predominantly, but by no means, exclusively Italian. I knew plenty of Greek, Jewish, hispanic, Irish and mid-eastern guidos. Seriously, you wouldn't believe how many mid-eastern guidos there are. I remember the Haboush brothers with their matching IROCs!
It's all about the hair gel, the cheesy cars, the dumb accent and the stupid clothes. Oh, and you have to be an idiot in every way, or you're out of the club.
Yes, but according to the “Battle for Bond” Ian Fleming was obsessed with the Mafia according to Ian’s friend Ernest Cuneo. In fact the novel Thunderball has the nuclear weapons being stolen by Giusseppe Petuchi who assign to Italy’s NATO contigent.
That would be "gabbagool' sanwishiz", cafon'...
