"Political Wire" has a CPAC Presidential Straw Poll up at:

Sarah Palin is currently blowing away the competition with 67%
My "dark horses" are missing from this list.
That would be Kasich/Rubio (assuming both win in November).
Comments?
My dark horse is Governor Mitch Daniels (R-IN).
“who_will_win_the_cpac_straw_poll”
such polls are always going to be dominated by well-known names, and “dark horses” are always going to be underrated.
Expected splashdown of the “palin is a rino” contingent is 3....2....
Question? How long will it take for either the Ron Paul or Mittney spammers to get working on this poll (and which will succeed?)
Anyone but Mitt.
Haley Barbour 2% (16 votes)
Mitch Daniels 1% (8 votes)
Newt Gingrich 3% (22 votes)
Mike Huckabee 6% (51 votes)
Sarah Palin 66% (569 votes)
Ron Paul 3% (22 votes)
Tim Pawlenty 2% (14 votes)
Mike Pence 2% (14 votes)
Mitt Romney 12% (107 votes)
Rick Santorum 1% (13 votes)
John Thune 4% (31 votes)
Total Votes: 867
Paul’s unemployed stoner army is the finest spamming force in internet history. My money’s on them.
Clearly the ‘fix’ is in. Ron Paul is clearly should be winning this poll and Mitt Romney should have a strong show as well because of his ‘gravitas’.(sarc)
lol!!!
There’s a field for the URL which will create a clickable link for you. Why didn’t you put the URL in there?
Thanks, I don’t post enough to pay attention to that. Maybe I’ll remember it next time it applies.
Paul’s people haven’t awaken in their basements yet, Mitt’s gotta fly a bunch of his family and paid staffers from off the 2012 campaign trail he’s on (campaigning against no one.....I hear he’ll be debating himself tonite in New Hampshire.....)
These results just show that most people don’t realize how thoroughly packed and paid for CPAC has been for Romney these last few years. If CPAC were still legit Palin would run away with it, but with the current circumstances...
David Keene is counting the votes.
Who comes up with the lists to vote on?
Huckabee, Paul, and Romney all lost to the lamest candidate ever last time, so they should be out.
Santorum lost a Senate election, and Newt was forced from Congress so they should be out.
Congressmen dont become Pres, so no Pence for now.
That leaves Govs. Barbour, Daniels, Palin, Pawlenty and Sen Thune.
Outside of their respective states and general likeability, no one knows much about the above except for Palin and that Barbour’s state didnt go to crap after Katrina. Id like Mitch and Thune to have more national ds so we know more, and that could be a good potential ticket (Gov for Pres, Sen for VP).
Also, how does CPAC not consider DeMint?
It’s too bad all those supporters won’t get to hear her speak.
Haley Barbour 1% (20 votes)
Mitch Daniels 1% (10 votes)
Newt Gingrich 1% (27 votes)
