Waxman gets 70%+ of the vote except in 98’ and 00’ when he went over 80%.
It’s Hollywood and Beverly Hills you know...

Is it possible that this Ahole can be defeated in a lunatic congressional district like his?
I put this guy in the same category as Pelosi. The people in his district are really on the lunatic fringe and thus no amount of evidence about the idiocy of this man will really matter. Hugo Chavez could get elected in his district.

Is it possible that Waxman can be defeated?
Maybe not. Probably not. But look what happened in Ted Kennedy’s home state after he retired.
Plant the seeds now. Get better situated in the district now. Harvest the crop eventually.

Wonder how the polling in this district looks. Waxman has had his district in a vice for a long time.

Back in the 1970's and 1980's, the Republicans ran some good conservative candidates against Waxman, including
Elliot Graham, a pro-Second Amendment activist who was also active in the Young Americans for Freedom, and Paul Zerg, a noted architect. Unfortunately, they only got about one third of the vote due to the district's demographics.

He ran unopposed which is why young Ari David is taking on this challenge. Ari is a family friend and I can vouch for his integrity and grit.

Hard to believe that H'wood and Beverly Hills, as image-obsessed as those places are, would want to represented by such a troll. I'm amazed that a more telegenic Democrat hasn't come along and sent Henry packing.
Waxman must know where lots of bodies are buried.

Wanna beat Nostrilitis in Beverly Hills?
Find a gay Republican somewhere + run him against The Nose.
The gays cannot help themselves — they’ll vote for the biggest gay.

It could suck DNC funding to have to defend Waxmen. That is a good thing, and maybe a miracle will happen and that progressively communist will get the boot.

How old is Waxman? Doesn’t he need gall bladder surgery at the Naval Hospital in Arlington?

Unopposed in ‘08
Won 71-27 in ‘06
An upset is not impossible but it doesn’t look like a good bet.

Sadly Waxman is my Rep.
Was also been represented by Dan Rostenkowski just before so I must be cursed.
I’ve voted for anyone besides Waxman since 94.

But, realistically, can he win? If it is believed that he is unable to win, big donors will hold out for candidates in other Districts and States.
