Bubba thinks he's a "Road Runner"
The Wall Street Journal ^ | February 16, 2010 | Duckworth

Two quotes from Bill Clinton in Ken Gormley's new book "The Death of American Virtue" reveal Bubba's strange self image for a U.S. President. He sounds like someone bragging to his fellow drinkers in a bar.

Quote 1:

"Yeah, I will always have an asterisk after my name, but I hope I'll have two asterisks: one is 'they impeached him,' and the other is 'He stood up to them and beat them. And he beat them like a yard dog.' "

Quote 2:

"I felt they were Wile E. Coyote in the pack and I was the Road Runner."

These ring true to life. He was/is an (a) arrogant and (b) delusional narcissist. When his heart finally gives out for good, there will be a lot of lying at his funeral, as the saying goes.

Sounds like having the tag IMPEACHED really bothers him.

I would have preferred “impeached , removed , convicted and imprisoned” myself

“...beat them like a yard dog.”

Yard dog?

Does he maybe mean a junkyard dog? This is reminiscent of his “rip-tootin’ “ description of the “country” barbecue he and Fat Albert threw at the White House, complete with jeans, Western shirts and designer loafers.

The quote should be memorialized, if for no other reason than to show what a phony, totally out of touch pretender he has always been

I think the saying he was trying to come up with was “beat ‘em like a rented mule”.

The other saying is “meaner than a junkyard dog”.

No, you didn't beat anyone like a 'yarddog' you fool. You think you can get away with anything but that time you didn't but still can't admit it.

You are the butt of jokes about blue dresses. Does that sound like you beat anyone? "I didn't have sex with that woman" is a cliche just like you. You got your butt kicked AND I HELPED!

He's a piker compared to the a$$hat in office now. Obama puts a whole new meaning to the words arrogant and narcissist.

The funny thing is he has nothing to back up his arrogance or narcissism.

I never would have thought I'd actually see the day that I'd want Bubba back in office-Relatively speaking.

He’s a Road Runner all right ...

Road runner... baby
Don’t want no woman to tie me down
Got to be free, baby
To roam around
All my life I’ve been like this
If you love me it’s your own risk
When the dust hit my shoe
I got the urge to move
Says I’m a road runner baby
Got to keep on keepin on
And I live the life I love
And I’m gonna love the life I live

He’ll always play the victim. The weird thing is, he sees nothing wrong with what he did.
