Joe Lieberman says he wants to be less political in 2010.
The independent senator from Connecticut, who infuriated Democrats by backing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president, told The Hill, Im trying to have a more governmental/legislative, less political year. Lieberman this week said he is staying out of some of the Senates most hotly contested races this year, including Sen. Barbara Boxers (D-Calif.).
Nobodys asked me to get involved, and I have no intention of getting involved in that race, Lieberman said. I just have a lot to do here.
He added that staying out of the campaign spotlight will be a nice change. I dont have any sort of yearning to get involved.

I'm not sure what he means here, but I think he jumped the shark on that Obamacare vote a couple of months ago. I think he means he doesn't want to endorse anybody in the CA Senate race, but he doesn't owe that dumb Boxer anything.

Who knows what he means. He’s part of the Moe, Larry and Curley team of McCain, Graham and Lieberman. It’s like a comedy act. One just laughs. And then wants the hook.

We shouldn’t forget that Lieberman does not want partial birth abortion banned. There is something really wrong with a man like that.

Can’t stand his wimpy, squishy voice! Lieberman is an opportunist just like Specter only a more likeable version.
Nevertheless he is liberal and proves it time and again!

He’s trying to shore up his image back home. It’s not likely to work.
