Israel is conducting a secret war, assassinating top officials in Hamas and Hizbullah in order to hamper the terror groups communications with their backer Iran, the London-based Times reported Saturday.
There has been growing co-operation between Gaza and Iran. Israel can read the writing on the wall and they know that with the help of Iran, the Hamas government in Gaza will become stronger and will fight better. But Israel is overstepping their boundaries. Other countries dont want to become a killing field for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the paper quotes an unnamed Palestinian official in Ramallah as saying.
The official was referring to the assassination of Mahmoud el Mabhouh, a senior Hamas official who was liquidated in a Dubai hotel last month. Hamas has accused Israel of killing him.

Let me be the first to say, GO Israel!!!
More power to the Israelis.
Israel is much more accepting of enduring bombs and rockets than any of us in America would be.
We need to encourage and support their Israel's effort to have peace. It is the other side that will not allow it.
Good, it’s what we should have been doing from the get go as well. Targeting financiers, political backers, etc., ie, hitting their soft targets just like they try to hit ours.
“Israel conducting secret war of assassinations.”
Hmmm.
As opposed to say, suicide bombers who randomly blow themselves up murdering random public targets?
If in fact they are carrying out assassinations, and doing so with no collateral damage and only hitting intended targets, compared to the methods being used by the other side that indiscriminately murder men, women, children - I think Israel’s way of doing it is quite a bit more thought out and shows they don’t consider everyone a legitimate target.
Yeah. I think that guy needs to go talk to someone who wants to buy some crap. Yeah.
He underestimates the degree of hatred the Gulf Sunnis have for Iran, methinks.
GOOD!
They are demonizing it by using the “A” word. Its no different than the US with predators in Pakistan.
Yeah SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Good on them.
Think how much good can be accomplished by a single well placed bullet. Oh the lives that could have been spared and the economic progress that could have been made, especially in the developing world, if only a strategic targets had been helped with an introduction to their creator.
You say assassin - I say peacekeeper!
Good.
7000 rockets in a year form Lebanon is not a reason for war?

Assassin A member of a secret order of Muslims who terrorized and killed Christian Crusaders and others.
[French, from Medieval Latin assassinus, from Arabic hashish user, from hashish; see hashish.]
Word History: Active in Persia and Syria from the 8th to 14th centuries, the original Assassins were members of the Nizaris, a Muslim group who opposed the Abbasid caliphate with threats of sudden assassination by their secret agents. Other populations of the area regarded the Nizaris as unorthodox outcasts, and from this attitude came one of the names for the group, n, a word originally meaning “hashish users,” which had become a general term of abuse. Reliable sources offer no evidence of hashish use by Nizari agents, but sensationalistic stories of murderous, drug-crazed or Assassins were widely repeated in Europe. Marco Polo tells a tale of how young Assassins were given a potion and made to yearn for paradisetheir reward for dying in actionby being given a life of pleasure. As the legends spread, the word passed through French or Italian and appeared in English as assassin in the 16th century, already with meanings like “treacherous killer.”
Hamas and Hizbullah hide behind women and children. A “war of assasination” is the only way to kill them without civilian casualties.
Keep up the good work.
Good for them. I think all nations should deal with their enemies this way.
