The 15-year-old victim of a beating that took place at the Westlake transit tunnel last month said she pleaded with Seattle police officers to help her get away from a group of people who eventually attacked and robbed her, court documents said.
As surveillance video from the incident revealed that transit security officers stood by while the girl was beaten, more details about what led up to the attack were found in court papers by KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Jeff Dubois Thursday morning.
In the court documents, the victim said Seattle police officers did not help her when she pleaded with them to help her get away from her group of attackers prior to the beating, but police did not help her.

That same group of people, including a 15-year-old girl seen attacking the victim on surveillance video, later followed the girl into the tunnel where the attack took place, police said.
The mother of the 15-year-old girl accused of robbery and assault in the case defended her daughter, saying the two teens have a history of aggressiveness toward each other, and that her daughter is a good girl who made a bad decision.

Fire them all except for the military protecting OUR BORDERS. Give us back all of our tax money and we'll protect ourselves.
Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids.
Its not about protection, its about control. They have control and aren’t going to give it up.
The victim should own Seattle after she’s done.
The victim is going to end up with a nice trust fund.
The words I have for the perp and her so-called mother, would get me banned.
I don’t know how those “guards” can live with themselves. Better to do the right thing and end up in the hospital than to have to live with that shame all your life, and then eternity.
I didn’t see any police on that tape.
If there had been? Maybe.
But I wouldn’t bet on it.
Next time, kick one of the security guards in the nuts. They will take you into custody - instead of to the hospital.
Does anyone know which story is accurate? If these were cops, she's going to have cause a BIG TIME civil suit.
“transit security officers”
Failed to provide SECURITY. Are they not obligated, at least by job, if not by law, to provide SECURITY?
Riiiiight... I'll bet, according to their mothers, most people in prisons are good boys/girls who made a bad decision.
Amish youth?
Yeah. Like Hitler was a good boy that made a bad decision. Her daughter has all the characteristics of a future armed robber. She should be tried like an adult and put in jail for a very long time.
There's another post that includes a more comprehensive description of the timeline of events. The victim asked police for help, before she went to the tunnel (they refused), and she approached them again after she had been beaten and robbed, and they were not helpful then, either. The cops aren't on tape "being useless," though, so they'll skate.
Tough lesson for many, if not most people. The police and the public have no duty whatsoever to protect you against thugs. NONE, zero. They can stand by and watch, and the only potential ramification is loss of face. That's it.
They did nothing just before this when the whole attack could have been prevented.
Kix are for Trids!
The police officers were in Macy’s or a mall. They ejected th kids and the confrontation was renewed in the transit tunnels. The guards on the camera were the the security guards, not the police.
I was under the impression that they were mall security guards who didn't help her. But, this story is saying that they were actually Seattle PD officers. I think we're talking about two different groups of worthless slugs wearing uniforms. The girl pleaded with police officers before she entered the tunnel. The tunnel is where she was beaten, and where the transit security guards were. |
As per another thread: These kids started picking at her in Macy’s. The police were called and they kicked all the kids out of the store. The others were waiting outside. The victim came back in and begged for help. The cops refused and only led the gang away. The gang followed her to the bus.
