Gallup Poll, if this dude's scientific assessment applied, indicates Americans are generally becoming increasingly "unpatriotic"

I’m not sure Nye is exactly qualified to make any assessments. What is his area of expertise?

According to Nye, it’s easier to sell the theory of anthropogenic global warming to younger generations since “older people” have a harder time with the concept.

I believe in climate change. Just not anthropogenic climate change. Geology and the universe tells us that the one thing we can count on is change. But taxing the people, social engineering and power grabbing from our overlords in Washington Dc won’t make a spits worth of difference in the climate. We should make responsible choices in land stewardship with a balance between ecology, economy and individual freedoms/responsibility.

Even if we concede that the climate is changing, the best response is SO WHAT!

The earth’s climate has gone through countless changes over the billions of years of its existance. Industrial man has only been around for less than 200 years.

We do not doubt climate can change, we doubt that man has anything to do with it.

Further, we wonder why we should destroy our financial health on a questionable theory as “man made global warming”.

We are begining to see that it has nothing to do with “saving the planet” and everything to do with controlling people.

If that makes me unpatriotic, then so be it.

This must be the new Progressive strategy....name calling.

If we don't approve of Obama’s foreign policy.....unpatriotic!

If you don't approve of Obama’s anti-terror plans....enabling the terrorists.

Don't like Obamacare...you show no compassion for people dying in the gutters.

Deny GW...you're a planet murderer.

"Bill Nye 'The Science Guy': Denying Climate Change 'Unpatriotic,' 'Inappropriate'"

Those words mean very little coming from a leftie.

Nye, Gates and a few other progressives haven't received the memo that the arbitrary "name calling" just isn't working anymore. No one is wincing or recoiling at little words meant to guilt trip the opposition into catering to their whims.

90% of us know that NOT falling for a hoax is NOT "unpatriotic" and is VERY appropriate.

Hey Nye...are you needing a place to dump all those "carbon credits" your bought? Is that what this is all about?

By the way...where's algore?

This is the usual lefty intellectual dishonesty. The issue isn’t whether the climate is changing (it always has), the issue is whether or not man is mostly responsible for this change. This is the same blurring of the difference between an immigrant and an ILLEGAL immigrant. Intellectual dishonesty on display.

No one is denying climate change. The climate changes. People are denying it's man made and we have to spend all our money trying to fix something we could never effect no matter what we did!

We, the so called "deniers" have more patriotism in our little fingers than this nutcase has in his entire being!

I’m getting just sick of these celeb bozos. He, above all, should know that “climate change” happens, PERIOD, no matter what. It’s called THE EARTH. This bait-and-switch with “climate change” for “global warming” is flat out dishonest, and people like Nye should be fired from any “scientific” jobs they hold.
