Interview with Sarah Palin (Palin *NOT* for Amnesty)
Univision ^ | October 26, 2008 | Univision

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

You presented nothing but BS.

“The Iraqi people were much better off under, and appreciated, Saddam Hussein.” It’s none of our business what happens in another country if their own people support it and it doesn’t affect us (which Saddam Hussein didn’t). Saddam Hussein hated terrorists as much as we do.”

Facts? LOL lefty!

...but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

The proper response from someone against amnesty and illegals would be, "They need to leave. Now. We will not tolerate invaders!"

Using the phrase "follow the rules" can mean too many different things. What if the rules were changed to allow them to stay?

They are not following the rules now which is why this statement of hers is misleading.

I’m the chairman of America’s Independent Party,

So you admit that Governor Palin is the opposition to your own party's candidate, no wonder you spend so much time and energy working against her here.

IT IS YOUR JOB.

Honesty is what sets us apart from the libs and we’ve resorted to their tricks of deception.

The mods can't make you an honest man, but they could and did fix your dishonest title. Your title was truly a cheap trick of deception, that while Hussein or Obama would have approved, belongs in the wood chipper anyway.

Sarah Palin made her position on illegal immigration known tonight in an radio interview with Rusty Humphries show. At the 11.00min mark in the interview Gov Palin states that we need to close the Southern border. She said that they are called illegal for a reason and if they can not follow the rules they do not need to be in this country.

Dont drink the troll kooliad.

Since a “pathway to citizenship” is amnesty, the title of the thread, as MODified, is now inaccurate.

We also know you work for her opposition.

Makes much of your postings very clear in that light...

How do you figure that was an attack?
I’m just talking about finding something you’re candidate said at one time and misquoteing him and twisting other things he said.
According to you, that is not an attack.

It’s funny that somebody, OBVIOUSLY A MOD WITH THE PRIVILEGE TO DO SO, has change the title to the post”

Because you are a either a liar, a troll, or you don’t understand English. That interview says the exact opposite of what you claim it is saying.
Now why don’t you go play with your toys, boy?

When you question a Moderators actions, it is advisable to ping them

You were told on this thread why the title was changed.

“Honesty is what sets us apart from the libs,” you have “resorted to their tricks of deception” so please practice honesty in the future.

AT THE TIME SHE OWED JOHN Mc - “Later in October, Palin would ultimately be interviewed by Ramos, at which point she admitted that she did not know how many illegal immigrants there were in Alaska.”

NOTE Palin aide Jason Recher said: not because she was unfamiliar with the issues but out of concern that she was not well-versed with McCain’s views on Latin American policy.

By Recher’s account, Palin was ready and willing to do the interview.

“The whole point of Ana Navarro being there was not to prep on Hispanic issues. The whole reason for her being there was to prep HER on John McCain’s stance on Hispanic issues,” said Recher, who traveled with Palin during the campaign and is now with her on her book tour.

When Palin finally did talk to Ramos, Recher recalled, McCain’s top advisers were “over the moon” about her performance.

You were never a party chairman before, now you are.

You literally have a candidate in this race and your attacking his opponent can not just be shrugged off as personal opinion.

You are the chairman for the man that is trying to stop Palin by any desperate measures that he can, you are a powerful political leader with an agenda and a goal--STOP GOVERNOR PALIN.

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

How wishy-washy can she get?! She supports a "path to citizenship," which means those here illegally will NOT be arrested, deported, or punished in any way, but rather will get rewarded with citizenship! She "understands why they want to be in America." So what?! I understand why the robber robs a bank, but does that mean he should get away with it? Maybe I want to be in Maui or Beverly Hills. And there's lots of good reasons why I want to be there. They're nice places. So do I get to just go there and take what I want?

And "it's important that people follow the rules." Well, that sounds all nice and fine. But why SHOULD anyone follow the rules, if politicians like her are just going to say to the rule-breakers, "Oh, I support a path to citizenship for you because, you poor dears, I understand why you wanted to break our laws and get all those goodies in the first place!" You'd be a sucker to "follow the rules" when those who don't follow them get NO punishment, a path to citizenship and lots of sympathy to boot!

If she's really against amnesty, as many here are claiming, let her come out and say it! Let her say, "I oppose amnesty! Illegals should be deported! Our laws should be enforced. It's not fair to citizens and legal immigrants." Just say it! It's not difficult.

But she won't. She won't because she's a typical, weasely politician who will say whatever they tell her to say. She's just like Bush or McCain on this issue.
