Interview with Sarah Palin (Palin *NOT* for Amnesty)
Univision ^ | October 26, 2008 | Univision

Posted on 02/10/2010 6:51:19 PM PST by Engineer_Soldier

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

But I assure you that it won’t be someone who favors amnesty by any name.”

You are never going to find a candidate, because there is no way to remove 40 million illegal aliens from our country.

When you believe you have found a candidate, tell us, so we can expose him for the fool he is.

Can you all give us a verified quote in which Governor Palin has repudiated her pro-amnesty position of the last campaign? I’ve seen it claimed several times so far on this thread but have never seen it actually proven...

That's a BS proposition.

That’s what I want. It’s so hard to find good people to run that are not under the yoke. We have already lost so many people on both sides that would be good because of the stench of politics.

She said that there is a difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration... and she said in an interview with Chris Wallace last week. This is BS.

I’m the chairman of America’s Independent Party, the third-largest party in the country based on voter registrations. Any FReeper who doesn’t know that can learn all about it by going to my homepage. It’s one little click. And on virtually every thread we can count on you to remind folks. Thanks. Now, if you don’t mind, the adults will continue to discuss the next battles in the war to prevent our country from being completely over-run by foreign invaders.

One more time: What does that mean? What are these "humane ways"? What rules? If they follow these unspoken "rules," they get to stay, right?

Fair questions to ask. "Humanely" did make it seem as though a Constitution-backed deportation is "in-humane." I hope she mis-spoke or just wanted to clarify that massive Janet Reno/Elias Gonzales-type of incidents wouldn't occur.

Palin ought merely to state that she "defers to the USCON", but exactly what she means needs to be determined.

The only person who looks the fool is you libtard.

Libtard? You're just like the libs. When presented with 100% truth that can't be rebutted (because it's an interview rather than a paraphrase), you resort to name-calling.

“The American Independent Party is a political party that was a vehicle for the 1968 presidential campaign of Governor of Alabama George C. Wallace,”

WTF???

That's tantamount to a woman being a little bit pregnant.

I agree, it does lend to a little "wiggle" room.

Keep in mind though this is from October 2008, she almost had to throw that in there.

My beef is the OP changing the title of the article and the deliberately misleading "Palin is for amnety"

Here is the title of the thread before the mods changed it:

Palin for Amnesty

Attacking those who stand for the rule of law and our national sovereignty. Sounds like a typical Republican endeavor these days. Thanks for the warning shot. Not that we needed it mind you.

Engineer_Soldier:”There was zero toleration for terrorism by Saddam; he would feed them into a wood chipper feet first just to hear them scream their life away. I know this from our interpreters who were all Iraqi nationals that lived under the madman. However mad he was, he was their leader and they supported him. That’s why Iraqis, not so-called foreign terrorists, fight us day-and-night to get us out of their land.””

Wow, he really is out there.

A Path to Citizenship is the code for amnesty. Call it amnesty-light if you want, but a “path to citizenship” for anyone who has already broken the law just by BEING here does not deserve any form of amnesty.

It’s funny that somebody, OBVIOUSLY A MOD WITH THE PRIVILEGE TO DO SO, has change the title to the post. C’mon, we are conservatives. Honesty is what sets us apart from the libs and we’ve resorted to their tricks of deception. C’mon, we’re better than that even when the truth hurts our schema of what we’ve thought
