To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

How wishy-washy can she get?! She supports a "path to citizenship," which means those here illegally will NOT be arrested, deported, or punished in any way, but rather will get rewarded with citizenship! She "understands why they want to be in America." So what?! I understand why the robber robs a bank, but does that mean he should get away with it? Maybe I want to be in Maui or Beverly Hills. And there's lots of good reasons why I want to be there. They're nice places. So do I get to just go there and take what I want?

And "it's important that people follow the rules." Well, that sounds all nice and fine. But why SHOULD anyone follow the rules, if politicians like her are just going to say to the rule-breakers, "Oh, I support a path to citizenship for you because, you poor dears, I understand why you wanted to break our laws and get all those goodies in the first place!" You'd be a sucker to "follow the rules" when those who don't follow them get NO punishment, a path to citizenship and lots of sympathy to boot!

If she's really against amnesty, as many here are claiming, let her come out and say it! Let her say, "I oppose amnesty! Illegals should be deported! Our laws should be enforced. It's not fair to citizens and legal immigrants." Just say it! It's not difficult.

But she won't. She won't because she's a typical, weasely politician who will say whatever they tell her to say. She's just like Bush or McCain on this issue.

Hallelujah!....except for the word ‘amnesty’. She’s said that. She calls it a ‘path to citizenship’.

In the Lars Larson interview she also said she wasn’t for the liberal kind of amnesty the dems want, but didn’t say what ‘kind’ she was in favor of.
