I have been telling friends for a couple of weeks now that if Medina can raise $2 million by February 16 (the start of early voting), she will be governor. What this poll tells me is that Texans are sick and tired of Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison and their career politician credentials and their negative campaigns. Medina is Sarah Palin with gravitas and without the winks.

A Paulista would be good for Texas?
by the way Medina is going to be on Beck radio tomorrow at 10am if you want to listen to her
join me in praying hard she makes the run off
Who is she?
listen to Beck tomorrow at 10am and find out...
So many folks here are trying to tie her with Ron Paul as if that’s a bad thing. While I never agreed with Mr. Paul 100% (who does anybody agree with 100%), he was my representative for many years.
Does anyone remember that “Great” Republican, Tom Delay? Well, I certainly do. He was known as “The Hammer”, and he came through and redistricted Texas. He took me out of Ron Paul’s district, and I am now in Lloyd Doggett’s district. Anybody who doesn’t know this slime bag—please “google” him. He’s a total wild eyed liberal who is so far left that it makes your head spin.
And she's supporting McCain the RINO in chief because they're buddies and she owes him. Seems she's more interested in helping 'buddies' than in prooting genuine conservatives. I don't trust Palin as far as I can throw her.
Glad others have picked this up. Gravitas? Palin’s got one son in Iraq and another in limbo, an unmarried daughter with a baby, and a target on her back the LSM can’t seem to resist (or hit, for that matter). She’s been a successful & popular mayor and governor. How many candidates for president match up to that?
Yea, you said it for me; we use TM for toilet paper.
Truthfully, yes, and I am not a Paulista. I can’t see her doing as much damage as the other two, or being nearly as Machiavellian, and if she could get just a little bit of her agenda through, it would be good for Texas.
Well, then, I’m writing in Palin for Texas Gov.
Texas is in good shape, money wise, which speaks well for Perry.
Medina is focusing on private property rights and this is a telling argument in Texas where the La Estrada is planning to cut across the state (up #35) and will be taking WIDE right of ways across the state.
Her campaign can not stop the governments right of eminent domain. Still she wants to cut our property taxes out and increase sales taxes to cover the amount; which would cause all to pay . Only the poor and immigrants, will get government cards giving them exclusion from these taxes. Once again.
I am now in Lloyd Doggetts district. Anybody who doesnt know this slime bagplease google him. Hes a total wild eyed liberal who is so far left that it makes your head spin.
You have my deepest sympathy. I would guess you live somewhere in the beautiful, peaceful, conservative central Texas I-10 area, and now your Congresscritter is elected by Austin liberals.
The more Texans hear about her the more they support her
Thank God she made the debates.
The only thing she lacks is the millions of dollars from special interests but I believe she will make the run off and then all hell will break loose.
Texas Monthly is so predictably loony-left that it’s not funny. They really DON’T LIKE Rick Perry and so they make stuff like this up.
Burka doesn’t make stuff up whatever you think of TM
... that gives me a lift in spirit and a smile as well.
Thanks for the reply.
Way too long IMHO, same as guv goodhair. We can thank kay baby for killing the border fence.
A TM endorsement is the kiss of death for Medina. And can anyone ANYONE please cite what experience does Medina have to make her qualified to be CEO of Texas.
I’m sure she is a wonderful person and all that, but SHE HAS NO EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION!!!
They all make stuff up at TM. Propaganda is all it is!!!
Iffen you think a Brown win was big........a Medina (Primary) win would pale it . The RNC would rather have a dem win at this point.
